Leaving.

Wrong information. Arriving no one to meet us, without being informed we would be there alone having to guess which room was ours, owner never showed during our whole stay and only showed up as we were leaving, meaning we had no room service, clean towels, bins emptying, bathroom cleaning, sanitary bins emptying. Wifi was part of the facilities, there was none!!!! Again no explanation given just a shrug of the shoulders when we asked. That made communication extremely difficult as we had no way of finding out what was available and no owner to ask. Other clients arrived during our stay, asking us where owner was all we could say was we have no idea, they summed up situation after a night and left. All we received was being told Sorry!!! Unfortunately that did not make up for the disappointment we experienced. We were told our payment would be refunded……Not true, as on form owner never replied to any of our messages, or to Booking.com to request our refund, which she is now sitting with. Why booking still paid after being told of all our concerns leaves me speechless. Getting to and from the destination cost 70 Euro return as when we asked, the owner said bus or taxi we decided on bus at 2Euro instead of 35 for Taxi, true to form the answer given oh…. I didn’t know bus was not running although she lives on bus route, another trait too much trouble to be bothered. To sum up she has been rewarded, getting full payment for shocking service. Please let this be a warning to future clients wishing to stay. If you do decide to stay get everything in writing or you could be another looser.

The hostess was super nice and welcoming. It felt almost as if we are part of the family. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and the room has everything you need. We were very happy and will come back for sure!

springs coming through both mattresses waste water pouring out under bathroom sink and leaking shower bathroom window wouldn’t open owner of property while cleaning threw away big bag of my essential medication , vehemently denied this , accused me of lying , so we insisted on searching the municipal waste bin.... pills were found mixed up with dirty toilet paper .... owner then accused me rudely and repeatedly of having thrown my own pills in rubbish , instead of a simple apology which I would’ve accepted ..... I told her I didn’t appreciate being lied to and general rudeness ..... from that moment on the owner and family didn’t speak to us, ignored us totally and never again cleaned our room , just let rubbish accumulate in unhealthy way over three very hot days .

Location great.

Location was nice. The place was cleaned every third day.

No internet. Poor communication with the owner (the owner did not answer to my messages). Ants were everywhere. No private terrace or private place to eat (no table in the room).

Room did not include breakfast. Location excellent. Restaurant very close for breakfast, etc. etc.

Everything was what we expected. So we have no complaints.

The place has a relatively good location because it is close to good restaurants, a small store and some of the climbing sectors are nearby but you still need a car/scooter to get around. The host was very kind and offered us snacks from time to time, and asked constantly if she could help with something. Rooms are cleaned once in 2 days which is quite often compared to most places on Kalymnos. There was always hot water.

Rooms are somewhat small and there is no place for a table. So the tables are moved to the balcony outside which is common for for all 4 rooms and there is no privacy. The balcony itself is cozy with a view of the sea. The wifi is good but it is available only in the evening, because a mobile phone provides the Internet (as a rooter) and if the hosts use the mobile phone or they are at work/school during the day, then there is no wifi. I recommend buying a stationary rooter for the wifi. There is an ant problem in the room that needs taking care of.

Great studio in the calm environment of Emporios. The host is so generous and kind, she will make you feel at home!

An easy room equipped with everything necessary. Location just 1min walking from beach and restaurant, but in a quiet place. Perfect if you go climbing as the path starts on the left of the house :) The owner lady was super!

This place is simple but perfect. Great location, clean and everything that you could need. Emborios is simply divine! Nothing was too much trouble for host Irene. Highly recommended

Clean and tidy. Big balcony.

Bathroom is very small. Move the loo roll out before you shower!!! But functional and with hot water, so OK for me!

I liked everything. The price of the apartment. The partment was clean and had everything, and had cleaning service. The location was fantastic. 100 meters from the water, kin a wonderful friendly quiet village with nice people and several nice restaurants on the water front. One can stay here for ever.

There was nothing I did not like.
