Little City "Big Heart"
Grande casa di campagna del Vermont a pochi passi dalla città. Vergennes ha un sacco di ottimi ristoranti, negozi e un piccolo parco caratteristico per godersi l'esterno. Vergennes offre musica dal vivo in alcuni dei nostri pub locali nei fine settimana. Siamo a soli 15 minuti da Middlebury, 35 minuti da Burlington, a breve distanza in auto da alcune delle migliori stazioni sciistiche come Killington, Mad River Glen, Stowe. Siamo anche a 10-12 minuti di distanza dal campo da golf di Basin Harbor.
Siamo in 15-20 minuti per alcune grandi aziende vinicole e birrerie come Wood Chuck Cider, Lincoln Peak, Otter Creek Brewery e Drop in Brewing.
Anche con 35-45 minuti a Shelburn Vineyard, Switchback Brewing, Magic Hat e molti altri ottimi posti dove mangiare e bere.

La casa comprende un open space con cucina, sala da pranzo e soggiorno tutti insieme. Ha un camino propano per godersi le notti fresche nel soggiorno. Camera da letto al piano superiore 1 ha un letto matrimoniale. Camera 2 ha letto matrimoniale, camera da letto 3 ha un letto completo. Camera da letto 4 ha due letti singoli. Ulteriori seminterrato finito è un futon e altri due letti singoli. Inoltre nel seminterrato è un tavolo da ping-pong e TV per guardare
La nostra casa offre un ampio cortile con un patio e un pozzo del fuoco con una griglia per cucinare la cena. Abbiamo anche un grande portico anteriore che è l'ideale per rilassarsi dopo una lunga giornata.

We had the best stay at Tammie’s home. The house was beautiful and very clean. It was exactly what we were looking for for our weekend in Vermont. Tammie was great to communicate with and made us feel welcome in her home. Would absolutely stay again next time we are in the area.

This house was perfect for our weekend in Vergennes. Having a roomy and comfortable home to go to in between wedding events was just what we needed and it gave the 8 of us our own spaces to spread out. This home had everything we needed and more. Tammie was very responsive from booking to checking out. If we have a reason to go to the Burlington area again we will absolutely stay here again!

We were in the area for a weekend wedding. This house was perfect for my family. While we didn't spend much time at the house, when we did it was quite comfortable and fully stocked. We would return!

We invited our son and his wife and baby as well as some cousins to stay with us at this large home when we were in Vergennes for a wedding. The house was a perfect place for hanging out and we enjoyed having toys for the kids, ping pong for the adults and teens, and just the space to sit and relax with family. The house was wonderfully supplied. The one complaint I heard from my son and cousin was the non master double beds were too soft. In fact, one couple moved into the twin bedroom as a result. The front porch with the ceiling fan became a favorite place to sit on the hot days. We did have a problem during our stay and our hosts responded immediately. Vergennes is a great small town with nice restaurants and shops.

While it was a quick weekend trip, the welcoming home made it very relaxing. Plenty of space inside and bedrooms for everyone, but also a great patio and front porch to enjoy as well. In the lead up to our stay, Tammie was also very communicative making it stress free. Hope to enjoy again!

We loved our weekend at Tammie’s property.
The house was amazing and had everything you could possibly need. We loved having campfires on the back patio and playing wiffle ball in the large back yard. We also spent a lot of time on the front porch and using the ping pong table. Everyone in our group said the house had all the comforts of home. . All the furniture and beds were so comfy. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Perfect location for our group to attend a baby shower nearby. Everyone had their own room. The house was immaculate and the host was out snowplowing the drive after a storm so we could get out. They even let a gift for the baby! Will return again in the future.

Our stay was a combination of visiting colleges and catching a little skiing time, and the house was the perfect place to rest in between. Very clean, tons of room, a well-equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, and comfortable beds made for relaxing evenings. Highly recommended!

We had nine adult family members staying at the property for a wedding in the area. This property was perfect for us. We enjoyed the fire pit and ping pong while we were there. The beds are very comfortable with mints and water in every bedroom. There are two recliners in the main living space that are so comfortable, you’ll think you are on a cloud. Plenty of information about the property and a very welcoming vibe. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you !

This was a great place to stay with a 2 and 5 year old. The house was well childproofed. There was plenty of room on the porches for people to hang out. The kids really enjoyed the many cars and trucks to play with. AC was clutch with temps in the high 90's

We had such a wonderful time at Tammie’s VRBO. It has the comforts of a home (welcome snacks, lots of towels/blankets, toys for our toddlers, fully stocked kitchen/condiments, fire pit and s’mores makings, etc) while also being a well-designed, modern, and clean rental! The beds were super comfortable too! Tammie was super quick with pre-trip and during trip communications, and so accommodating and helpful with anything we needed. The backyard is beautiful, there’s lots of space to play inside, and it worked so well for our group. I’d definitely recommend it and stay there again! It’s close to the community pool, elementary school playground, and downtown Vergennes. And not too far from Middlebury. Perfect place, thanks for having us!

Perfect fit- would definitely stay again
Tammie‘s house was the perfect home away from home while working in Vermont. Everything was there that we could possibly need and was very homey and comfortable. Great communication as well.

Lovely Home!
We had a great stay at Tammie's property, a lot of amenities and personal touches that made us feel welcome! Great location for a mixed group of skiers/non-skiers where some folks spent time in Burlington while others skied at the Sugarbush area. Highly recommend!

This house was perfect for our family to gather for Thanksgiving. Tammie was very helpful and thought of everything for our stay. The house was very clean and had plenty of room for our large group of teens and adults.

Beautiful home in Vergenes
The house was spotless, I had everything one could need. Lots of clean towels, a coffee maker with pods, And a warm fireplace. The little town is very cute with lots of cute little stores and bakeries. About 15 minutes from Middlebury College. Will definitely come back

Large House - Convenient Location
This is a large suburban-style house on a rural road - convenient location - about a 20-minute walk to the center of this charming town. We especially enjoyed using the outdoor grill and eating on the back patio. And the covered front porch was wonderful for breakfast - even in the drizzling rain. We loved going into town for maple creamies and biking the small roads along the coast and bordered by cow farms around Vergennes.
The house itself is mostly very lovely. The first floor living areas are a little dark and the living room is oddly-shaped. And even though the kitchen is well-stocked with all the cooking utensils and dishes you'll need, we had to wash many of the items before using them.
But these are small issues for what was otherwise a very comfortable home and a delightful vacation.

Great Rental
We had a very pleasant experience and the host, Tammie, was fantastic. I would highly recommend staying here! We stayed with only four of us but could have easily had 8 - 12 people stay. The backyard was perfect for a campfire and the basement had plenty of games for constant fun! We look forward to planning another trip back at this house. The area has beautiful views and plenty of exploring to do as well!

Great space
We stayed with friends for a week at this home. The living area was spacious. We loved the fire pit on the back patio. The host was very kind and accommodating - she made sure we were comfortable. Overall, it was a great trip!

Convenient with plenty of room
We had two families stay here while attending our family reunion in nearby Middlebury. It was a very convenient location, only about 15 minutes from Middlebury. The house and yard are lovely and immaculately clean. The hosts provide many thoughtful ammenities for comfort and convenience. The four bedrooms with additional beds in the finished basement and den offered lots of flexible sleeping options. The kitchen was well equipped and there was dining space for a crowd, both inside and out on the comfortable back patio, that also has a large grill and built-in fire pit. There is lots of parking on the paved driveway. Our only complaint was there is only one full bath and a powder room. The house easily accommodates a crowd, but it would be helpful to have additional bathroom facilities. I would certainly recommend this to others for a relaxing get away in the Champlain Valley.
