5 stars isn't enough for this hotel. It is simply exceptional. I spent my 30th birthday here and they made sure it was even more special than just being in the incredible accommodation. The attention to detail was second to none, every single staff member gave the best service and the property is to die for. This is by far the best accommodation I've ever stayed in for every single reason. I would come back in a heartbeat.

Tastefully decorated historical villa in picturesque place. Every staff member were great and made us feel home. Clearly they really enjoy what they do. We would also like to thank Dario who went the extra mile to help us when we need it.

Our stay at Villa di Piazzano was absolutely fantastic from start to finish and a real highlight of our honeymoon so far. All of the staff were faultless - incredibly friendly and attentive (but not overbearing), and the hotel itself is simply stunning. It is a little oasis with the most beautiful pool and evening sunsets, which can be enjoyed from the manicured gardens. Our room was large and comfortable, as well as being full of character, and the overall vibe of the whole hotel was one of relaxation. We particularly enjoyed the private wine tasting in the properties wine cellar; it was really informative and the wines chosen were absolutely lovely. The food in the restaurant was delicious and we will, without a doubt, be returning.

Very overrated and overpriced. Loud AC, the room starts to smell like wet rat if turned off in 10 minutes, and we had a suite. The toilet flush was broken. Once found a wet bidet towel sitting on my luggage after cleaning. I got all confused with the word "luxury" in the naming =\
The restaurant is very overpriced too. Had to return my food twice and a wine bottle once. It's like it was their first day cooking meat. Pastas are ok at best. Deserts are bad (source: my wife, a desert cheff).

We stayed as part of our honeymoon, and loved our stay at the Villa. The team were really friendly and great at helping to arrange bookings for food in Cortona. The pool was great and we found the breakfast was especially generous! We've been twice now, and are sure to go for a third time!

We expected this hotel to be superb. It did not disappoint. Pool, grounds, staff, rooms, almost everything was exceptional.
We dined in for one of our two nights and the quality of the restaurant matched the overall quality of the property. The property is 15 minutes out of Cortona, so if you are planning to eat in town and don't want to drive, the transport is expensive, but some really good dining options await. The service was exceptional except for apertivo on our first night when service was way too slow. A problem with our bill was sorted with the minimum of hassle.

This villa exceeded my expectations. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel as if we were at home.
In addition to the most beautiful views and property, we loved meeting the owner’s dog Jack, what a sweet and charming dog.
The rooms were very spacious and the property was designed to relax and enjoy all its spaces.
This villa is a must visit.

Everything! The staff were just amazing, so nice and friendly and always attended to our needs! The restaurant was great for dinner and even just a little snack during the day was nice!! Thank you, we will be back again!

This property was exceptional. We could not have asked for a better place to stay in Tuscany. Our room was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond. It was so beautiful and relaxing, I could have moved in!!! We met the owner on our last morning and you could tell she really cares. Breakfast was fantastic! Everything was spot on. So glad we chose this resort, hopefully we can get back there soon!

Wonderful facility. Nice outside seating and garden. Breakfast food and service was good.
Staff was not flexible. They are very polite but….of the few minor requests for small exceptions they didn’t address our request but rather told us why they had the policy or procedures leaving the customers request unanswered. We were told that the Chief only makes one offering per night without any other option. Later in our stay and after being forced to secure dinner elsewhere we learned there were other options at the hotel.
We have traveled in Italy for 2 1/2 decades,and one thing you hear VERY often when making a request is “no problem”.

The property is set in an absolutely beautiful setting. Staff are responsive, attentive, and quite professional. Our room was immaculately clean. Wonderful breakfast service.
I only wish the dinner menu had more selection.
