- La camera non era pronta all'ora del check-in. - È suonato l'allarme antiincendio alle 3 di notte e non c'era nessuno in reception, siamo rimasti noi clienti al freddo invernale senza sapere cosa fare per ben 20 minuti. Dopo un'eternità é arrivato il responsabile e i pompieri che hanno dichiarato il falso allarme e siamo potuti tornare a letto. Il giorno dopo non ho ricevuto né delle scuse adeguate né un rimborso parziale né un pensierino per il disagio. Anzi secondo il responsabile "si era giá scusato a voce e non riteneva necessario un rimborso". Servizio veramente orribile, personale scortese e le pulizie hanno dei tempi eterni.

The room was very well-prepared for a family of four.

The building was quite noisy - bumps and scrapes and thumps audible from elsewhere in the building until late at night.

I was so much excited about the hotel, the view and the staff that me and my family will come again. Thank you for a very warm human welcome! It is one of the best places we stayed in!

The website and booking.com do not state that the restaurant is closed on Sundays. The girl at reception didn't seem very apologetic and told us there was just one other restaurant within walking distance. However on doing our own walkabout we found a bar/restaurant in the village. We were hassled out of the bar at around 10.0 by obvious cleaning and the music being turned off and being told that we were welcome to take our drinks up to our room. Similar experience at breakfast

The hotel is well located for a stopover as it is within 3-4 minutes of the autoroute. Rooms are a good size and ours had a small balcony which was nice for an 'al fresco' supper.

On arrival we were told that they had no chef so were not providing meals but we were given a list of 3 restaurants, 2 of which were in the village. When we arrived at the first one it was closed on Mondays and Tuesday evening (the day of our stay), the third restaurant had recent very poor reviews so we decided to go to the village shop and buy supplies for the evening. When opening our bedroom door (room 3) we were greeted by a drain smell that persisted throughout, not too bad to ask to move but not saisfactory.

A very pretty chalet style hotel, in a beautiful location. The rooms are excellent and clean, and breakfast was excellent as well. Staff were all friendly and welcoming, but...

What loses a top score for our stay was dinner, or lack of it. Having been told that we could have dinner in the restaurant, (serving between 7:30 and 9:30), and telling the staff that we would like to eat there, when we got to the dining room at 8:30 we were turned away as they were 'too busy'. Their alternative suggestions in the village and in nearby Nus were closed, so a further unwanted drive into Aosta was required, by which time the options were severely limited. Annoying, and which rather undermined an otherwise excellent experience.

Great staff (reception + breakfast) - very kind, helpful and positive, rooms are clean and beds are comfortable, breakfast is super. BTW ...pet friendly ! Quiet and a nice view from the balcony.

Nice clean Place. Friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed the dinner and Breakfast at the hotel. Its within Walking Distance to Castle and close to the town of Aosta.

First of all I would like to thank the hostess for her very warm welcome and in particular for providing us with a breakfast package so that we could leave early. That was much appreciated. Mille Grazie! I would also like to congratulate the hotel on their heartwarming project. It was our pleasure to contribute to this. The room was not big for four, but very clean and with a nice view of the castle of Fenis.

The location and setting were great. The staff and their ethical principles. The restaurant food was good. We were pleased they accepted dogs.
