Spacious clean room!

Restaurant meals were disappointing! Served stale oysters and charged us for this.

Convenient to the airport. Easy parking. Rooms clean and spacious. Nice pool (although too cold to use at this time of year). Easy check in.

This hotel is fine, but the restaurant, "Smokey Joe's" restaurant staff were oddly rude after they made mistakes (about which we didn't complain). We have stayed here previously, and the mediocre breakfast experience was put down to covid and the fact they couldn't offer their usual buffet. We needed somewhere to stay for 1 night and, given the convenience to the airport, thought we would give the Ramada another try. As the breakfast was only an additional $10 each, we booked it as included (through Booking.com). We arrived at dinner time on a Saturday and checked in unevenfully. The room was fine, nothing flashy, but I wouldn't recommend the sofa bed as a sleeping option. Even our 14 year old found the thin mattress uncomfortable. As there aren't huge numbers of eating options, and it was getting late, we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant, Smokey Joe's. 45 minutes after ordering, our food had not arrived and the waitress brought garlic bread "compliments of the chef" to apologise for the delay. We hadn't said anything, but were glad of the food after a long car journey. Another 15 minutes later, 4 of our 5 mains arrived. They were fine, again, nothing flashy, but as expected. A further 5-10 minutes later, the waitress arrived to say that my wife's order was not available. She had ordered the popcorn cauliflower salad. The waitress explained that there was no salad. My wife was unsure what she was going to be given to eat. The waitress not once apologised, and seemed to imply that her expectations of receivng what was on the menu were unreasonable. Later some popcorn cauliflower arrived on top of cold chips (not the avocado / beetroot salad from the menu). Later still, a plate of very tired looking beetroot and avocado was brought out. The staff had presumably previously ascertained that it wasn't fit to be served, but then brought it out anyway.

Location

No chairs to sit on, typical of hotel/motel designers, they NEVER sleep in the rooms to know what works and what doesn’t. Big room no chairs to relax in. The smallest fridge ever made, useless. Food in the restaurant horrible, not sure how a simple pasta dish can be ruined so easily

This time, there was nothing special about my stay. So I have nothing positive to report.

I come here when I work in the area. I usually get a 1 bed apartment, but this time, I got a king room. I'm very disappointed. They said it had a pool view, but as we didn't book directly through the company, we were not a priority. It was as if we were unimportant. Because of this, you do not receive the pool view the pictures show.I have always used booking.com, and I was never made to feel this way in all my past stays here. The room was in the main building and felt worn. Their attention to detail when cleaning was not there. The toilet continued to make noise all night long.

Facilities, bed comfortable, plenty of parking, friendly staff

Quality of meal was poor and not as described on menu. Got this as room service due to restaurant not open on Sunday nights except for room service. Left note on plate but did not get any feedback
