The pool water was a bit not clear , the wood around it a bit old

Nice hotel with a good location in Siem Reap. Friendly staff and the room was nice. But the pool area is already a bit run down and overall more a 4 star than a five star hotel. The food in the restaurant is great.

Everything the staff were fabulous , to the little details chocolate in the pick up car , biscuits in the bedroom , lush tropical surroundings wrapped around a mid century building , fabulous food & drinks & if you go ask them to organise your tour at Angkor wat be sure to ask for Tom as your guide … also very central

The breakfast selection was excellent. The view from the room over the pool was great. The gym facilities were very good and secure for guest only access.
The upstairs restaurant had a stunning outlook both indoors and outside. The dinner selection was extensive.
The pool was too narrow and small and the surrounding seating was too close for guests to relax.

This hotel is situated close to the centre of Siem Reap, but it is one of the quietest locations and the design makes it feel more of a resort than a hotel in a busy tourist town. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the cuisine outstanding, and the pool, gym, spa and bar everything one could wish. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make one’s stay as comfortable as possible. A tuk tuk to all the attractions (Pub Street, markets and restaurants) is only a couple of dollars, and the FCC is within walking distance of the Royal Residence, the Museum, and the Made in Cambodia market. Naturally, the temples are a main attraction, and the staff do everything to facilitate a tour. Highly Recommended.

Location was perfect and within walking distance of all the shops and bars and Pub Street.
Breakfast was excellent and a great variety of choice on offer. Accommodation was really clean and the staff were brilliant.
I think they need to cut some of the trees back around the pool area so it’s a bit more sunny.
We stayed in the garden room which was fabulous, however there was a lack of mirrors in the room and it could definitely benefit by having a mirror in the lounge area for getting ready and drying hair.
Also lack of storage space for the size of the room and some more hangers.

From service to qualities of room and amenities everything was exceptional!!! The only suggestions I’d make is to have more stone walk ways to get out of pool instead of grass. This will allow cleaner pool too.

FCC Angkor by Avani is the kind of boutique hotel. Surrounded by palms and trees. Room decorated with colonial and minimalist style was super nice. Staff was always helpful and looking every minute after you.
Restaurant food was very, very good.
Breakfast (included in the room price in our case) was a la carte and with all variety you could expect for a 5 star hotel.
Pubs street and Siem Reap restaurants are 10min walk from FCC.
Airport was 15min driving distance.
We stayed in a Premium room and access to bathtub was not easy (quite a jump to get in).
Toilet (restroom) walls would appreciate a paint.

Breakfast was excellent. Good location, walking distance to almost everything in town. Free bicycle rental was also very good, the bikes were in excellent condition.

I liked the room design and the beds + pillows were very comfy! Breakfast was good and because we travelled with a small child we did a lot of lunch/dinner at the hotel's restaurant. It was very good. Service at the restaurant could be improved though. The hotel's spa is across the street, highly recommend it!

Also, we were very scared one night when a critter went down the curtains and made a lot of noise. There are some trees surrounding the property, they might be at the origin of this unfortunate incident. The hotel staff moved us to another room the next day and we didn't hear or see anything else.

The annex across the street is less appealing, with the pool just by the roadside. Also the mobile network tower just behind the building makes a somewhat unpleasant atmosphere.

Location was great. And the food at the restaurant is amazing.
Room was showing a little bit of wear and shower wasn’t working well at times but it was ok.

Stunning hotel in the best location. Walking distance to the famous Pub Street, as well as amazing restaurants, cafes, cocktail bars and the river (we enjoy walking around when travelling so happy to walk 15/20 minutes to places). If you're not a walker, the hotel can organise a tuk tuk to bring you anywhere you're wanting to go. Free usage of the hotel bicycles was a lovely perk. Cycling around the town was fun and we also took a small 10/15 minute cycle to the landmine museum from the hotel. Breakfast was amazing!!!! Great mix of international food and Asian/Cambodian style breakfasts. Staff were kind, caring and very friendly. We stayed in the courtyard deluxe room. Couldn't fault it.
Not sure if this is something that the hotel could help with, but the mosquitoes are everywhere in Siem Reap. Bring mosquito repellent if you are prone to the nasty bites.
