The unit itself has very nice amenities. Furniture/linens/towels were all of great quality and updated. There were spare bedding/pillows/sheets and a pull out couch. Check in/out was very easy. Short walk to the beach and the view of the inter coastal is great. Our only complaint is the cleanliness. We did reach out to the owner who sent the cleaning person right back as it seemed that almost nothing had been cleaned (dirty toilets/floors/dishes/trash/trash under beds and in bedroom drawers). The cleaning person still did the bare minimum as I ended up sweeping and mopping the floors myself that evening as well as washing every thing that we needed to use in the kitchen as we needed it. The owner did apologize again as it was not done properly a second time. Would highly recommend if they fix the cleaning issue.

It was a great house a minute walking from a very beautifull beach. We stayed for a week and had a perfect sunset every day. On the beach we saw a lot of birds and in the water fishes, rays, dolphins and more. 10/10

We had such an amazing little stay in Indian Shores. This unit was larger than it appeared in the photos. It had plenty of room for myself, husband and 2 kids (5 & 14).
The patio is a beautiful place to drink coffee in the morning (although I usually walked to the beach while the family was sleeping).
The kitchen cabinets are stocked full of most anything I would need. I do suggest, as with a lot of vrbo s to get a little extra toilet paper and any condiments you may need. We did need to purchase laundry detergent as well.
My kids were so please to see so many boogie boards and pool noodles to head straight to the pool and beach with. We also regretted not using the umbrella for the beach, but there is one available if needed!!
The pool temperature was SO perfect. We swam every morning and we’re the only ones there until mid afternoon.
There are a couple little shops, gift shop, ice cream; convenience etc within just a short walk down the road. Anything larger is just a 3-5 minute drive in either direction.
We were so pleased with how clean this beach was, how white the sand was, and how mellow the waves were. It was a perfect experience for our family and we would love to go back!

My mom, sister and I had a wonderful time at this super cute condo in a perfect location. Indian Shores is right in between the traffic and crowds, and with the inlet on one side and ocean on the other, it was amazing! The condo was clean (though the master bathroom could use a little work and a new shower head), and decorated so cute. Lots of games, comfortable, and I loved being on the top floor with no neighbor. It would have been nice to have more than 1 roll of extra toilet paper and a 1/2 roll of paper towels -those are the items I expect to have provided. But we'd stay there again in a heartbeat! Thank you!

We enjoyed the unit so much that it was hard to leave after 5 days. The unit is bigger than in the pictures and has everything you need. The wii entertainment system as well as board games were greatly appreciated by the kids and actually the whole family.
There were beach towels, beach chairs, sand toys, body board, a ball and a cooling box that we could use. The kitchen was well equipped, the balcony was big and it was clean inside as outside. There is no elevator but it was no problem going up and down the stairs for us.
The beach is absolutely beautiful and was never packed. We enjoyed the proximity of the unit to the beach as well as the pool just at the entrance of the building.
Would definitely recommend this place and come back.

We enjoyed our stay. We especially love the balcony view of the intercoastal. The condo had all the kitchen items we needed which was great as we did cook meals. The location is close enough to allow for long walks on the beach or to restaurants. Many attractions are within driving distance. Property is quiet and peaceful. Bob & Ellen

This is our 2nd time renting this property and we had a great stay. Close to beach and warm pool.

This property has no elevator. There were 28 stairs to our unit and stairway was very narrow.
No bicycle rack and no grills. HOA has too many rules for vacationers. Our unit needs quality bed sheets that actually fit the mattress. Previous renters did not clean dishes, silverware and most kitchen utensils. Visitors were friendly, but the full time owners were not friendly. Will not rebook.

Great rental! The beds were comfortable. Loved the layout. Enjoyed the balcony . Place was very clean! My adult kids had a blast with the Wii game console . Great ice cream parlor w over 100 flavors about a mile away!!! Would love to return!!!!

Fantastic place to vacation!
This place was great! Great view of the inter-coastal Waterway from the balcony. Easy access to the beach and Gulf Blvd which has multiple restaurants, shops, etc. Great parking spot for those staying here. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Nice pool, as well. We went to Busch Gardens, which was less than an hour away.

Loved our stay here!
The property was very well maintained and manicured. The condo was very clean, spacious, and well stocked with things to do (TV, board games, Wii system) and all the kitchen supplies that you could ever need. We loved our evenings on the deck overlooking the canal. We did miss having an outdoor grilling area though. The pool was awesome but could stand to be cleaned more often.

Location was great. Liked the floorplan, plenty of space. Also enjoyed the covered outdoor patio.
There are however a few issues that need to be addressed by the property owner. Most of the beach chairs and umbrella are rusty, broken and unusable. The towels and washcloths are stained and dingy. Would have been nice to have had hand towels in the bathrooms. The coffee pot was a mess! It had burned coffee in the carafe and the hotplate was rusted. Lots of coffee grounds in the maker itself. Needed lots of cleaning before it could be used. The kitchen cupboards and drawers need to be cleaned. Also, the dishes in the cupboards were not clean. We had to run them all through the dishwasher before using them.

Beach vacation
Overall we had a very good experience. When we arrived the housekeeper had not arrived yet to clean after the last guests but as soon as I contacted the owners they apologized and contacted her immediately and she got right over and took care of it. Other than that we were very pleased with everything and very much enjoyed our stay.

Nice to have separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Enjoyed lounging in the living room while waiting to go or recovering at night. Parking close to stairs to vrbo.

Great place to stay but a few changes would make it better
The condo was very neat and clean and perfect for our family of 5. The view of the inter coastal was beautiful. The beach access was across the street and down a couple of properties which was not too bad. There’s plenty of room in the condo and amenities was well. However, the air in the unit cannot go lower than 74 which makes it very stuffy if the fans are not on high and running constantly. Also, the pool was dirty for about 3 days. I know this because there was a used bandaid floating in the bottom. Also the pool closes at dusk so my kids didn’t get to swim at night. The units are all upstairs so you either have to carry your beach things upstairs or leave them in the car. There’s no elevator. We made the mistake of leaving our stuff at the parking place in the corner out of the way while we ran to get food. When we came back, our cart was pulled out to the middle of our parking space and tagged with a note about not leaving it out. There’s rules posted about the stuff but it was our first day and we didn’t stop and read the rules. Also, the only way to wash off from the beach is in the pool area. Well, the pool is only accessible by key, not code. So if you don’t take the pool key every time you go to the beach you can’t wash off and can’t swim. You also can’t use the restroom at the pool without a code. So you have to go to your room sandy and wash off there and use the restroom there too. It was innconveniences like access to the pool, restroom and washing off the sand that I disliked about the place. With 3 kids those things matter unless you want your condo full of sand and your car full of sand.

Convenient to beach and restaurants
Spacious two bedroom and two bathroom. Across the street from the beach and convenient to public beach access. Small condo pool nearby. This until is on the third floor so it’s about 28 steps to reach the front door.
Some room for improvement with cleanliness. Beach umbrella and most of the chairs are broken so you may want to make arrangements to rent these things. Overall we had a great time and this place is a nice location with good restaurants close by.

Late spring break
I have never felt more at home, away from home. Captains Cove is more residential than touristy! It's exactly what we needed. Quite & other residents were so nice & welcoming. The condo was clean and perfect for my family. We had some personal family issues come up, the property manager was beyond helpful & listened & was very caring. We can't wait to go back!

Unfortunately, with the uncertainty caused by the corona virus pandemic, we decided to head back to our home in upstate NY after just over 2 weeks.But concerning the property, it was just what we were looking for and the reality lived up to our expectations. The condo was very nicely furnished, and was just a short walk to the beach. While we were there, we went through VRBO to ask if we could reserve the unit for March of next year, but were told it had already been rented for the first 3 months of the year. It was just a little disappointing that we didn't have that option a year ahead of time.Options to have mail forwarded for the month were limited. We ended up having mail sent to some friends who live a few miles away.Overall, we had a really nice time and enjoyed the unit for the 2+ weeks that we were there.

Great Place
Very happy with this property. Location is central to lots of great restaurants, bars, convenience shopping. Bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces were roomy. Updated furnishings and well stocked kitchen. Property is clean and well maintained. Very nice pool area. We enjoyed the stay and would definitely book this property again.

GREAT LOCATION
We enjoyed our stay with the one exception. The second bedroom is very tight because of the child's twin bed that shares the room. It required the second couples husband to crawl over his wife to get out of bed during the night. I might add a plus that a new washer and dryer were installed while we were there.

Very nice condo
The condo was very clean and well maintained. The location was very nice as well. Check in was incredibly easy. I had no need to contact the owner because everything was taken care of. However, their communication via email was just enough. We will stay here again on a return trip.

Myself, my parents and two kids had such a wonderful stay at your beautiful condo!! Everything was so nice and clean, beds were so comfortable, tons of games for us to play, beautiful, big balcony overlooking the waterway. When I had a question I just sent it through here and literally 2 minutes later would have a response. Great, easy communication.
The beach access was right across the street and up a few steps. We loved the dock where we went fishing a few days and then would come out in the evenings to watch the dolphins play in the waterway!
We made a day trip to Disney. It was about an 80 min drive. Very easy trip to and from.
My son is begging me to book this place already for next year!!!!

Indian Shores vacation
The property was very clean, well stocked amenities ie towels, beach towels, soap and cleaning supplies. Very quiet neighborhood with close proximity to the beach. We very much enjoyed our stay and the fire works in the area were outstanding!

Great Vacation Condo
Condo was spacious, clean and modern. Beds were comfortable. Nice pool. 5 minute walk to beach. We would recommend this condo to all. It was nice that they provided a lot of extras, like bed linens, beach towels, games, etc.
