The view from the room was great. The set-up and take down of bedding was extremely convenient. Lastly the staff searched for us in town to return a phone charger left in the room. Extremely nice and generous.

Was unsure about the open taps, as in I didn't know when/if I could ask for a beer.

Amazing traditional Japanese Inn with white glove service. Dinner and breakfast were worth every penny.

Centrally located. Wifi was good.

Check-in and check-out process was very rushed and impersonal compared to other Ryokan we have stayed at. No selection of Yukata and Haori - we were simply given the standard set that all guests receive, and we did not think the designs were particularly nice. Room was very dated and could be better maintained. Oddly enough the shower room smelt of pee. We would not recommend this place.

Great location, close proximity to some of the Onsen bathhouses and the pass to get access to them all. really kind staff, we really appreciated the service provided by Ryu he was great and spoke good English to explain the processes and the various foods. Good evening meal and breakfast, big portions too. nice onsen within the property itself. a really enjoyable experience for our first time in a ryokan. really nice view out into the rear garden.

No water kettle in the room

Best location for visiting open public baths. Clean and comfortable room. Private bath was romantic with my partner!

Food was not enough in volume. I became hungry at night. Bar closes too early.

The staffs at the hotel were super helpful. The room was spacious. Excellent location.

Black spot/stain could be seen on the shower head and hose at the Onsen (women zone). But overall experience was still excellent.

The location was great, very close to many of the onsen. We really enjoyed walking around in the provided yukata too!

The futon is a little on the hard side so if you like soft beds you may not enjoy it so much.

Friendly staff

A. If your room is situated near the main road, you could hear people walking pass with the japanese geta (clogs). I was not bother by it. B. The hotel should provide us with yukata for wear when we go onsen hopping and another set in the room when we are back to change into when we goes to bed.
