Good sized room , nice bright decor and comfy bed . Exceptionally clean with good sized towels . Also great choice of breakfast , i would recommend the smoked haddock omelette it was fab, also with some extras on the side . It felt like a home from home with very friendly staff making sure i was well looked after , thank you to the Parkville i will definitely be back .

The room could do with some more storage space and more coat hangers in the wardrobe as i was there for over a week it was very limited . The tea , coffee and hot chocolate were replenished every day which was great adding a couple of biscuits would have been nice touch or a bit of fruit

The TV Didn't work - Glitched couldn't be fixed that night. The Grey chair at vanity unit was wobbly. The staff were notified and the TV was reported immediately. Floor boards creaked badly . Apart from that good nights stay ..

Room and bathroom was clean. Restaurant for dinner was very good.

No breakfast on offer...not sure why or when this changed. It should have been made more obvious when making the booking - all the good work is undone when you walk down at 7am and everything is closed up.

Ok But arrived for breakfast at 8-30 to be told no not till 9am When the brochure in the room Clearly states 8am till 11

Requested a quite room My room was on the front above the restaurant etc Traffic noise all night and people talking on the terrace until 2 am

The room was lovely, superb value for money and very well appointed. Great choice in the restaurant food wise, even for a veggie. High quality. So very many positives

There are no hotel facilities as such, you book in via the restaurant and the bedrooms feel like a complete appendage to a very successful restaurant (rightly so). During the week there is no breakfast option at all, no reception cover (just a number to call out of hours) and you let yourself out of the back door in the morning without seeing anyone. Not sure if I was the only person in the building to be honest?!. The restaurant staff gave the impression that as a “hotel” guest you were in the way of their restaurant business.

Very popular restaurant, and rightly so. Food and staff service was excellent, and if you do stay here I would highly recommend an evening meal. Room was clean and functional, bathroom a little small, but on the whole a good stay

.This is essentially a restaurant which offers rooms as well, it is not really a full hotel. There was some confusion and slowness during the booking in process on arrival, despite having being prompted to complete an advance registration card. Also to be told that there was no breakfast available was disappointing, as this is a standard feature you expect at any establishment claiming to be a hotel; advance notice in this respect would have been appreciated as it was difficult to make other arrangements at short notice, particularly in view of the poor weather that prevail

Wasn't informed they were doing refurbishments before booking and the kitchen was closed so no option for breakfast so I wouldn't have booked it if I'd known... However would go back

Friendly staff and room was good but the price was raised for COP26 - otherwise it would have been good value.

Reception wasn’t open for check out before 9am - I wasn’t aware of this and needed to leave at 08.45 so had to leave the key in the room.
