Complicated routine for access to key for room when arriving at unknown town, particularly at night. Definitely needs to be improved.

Wish there were instructions on check in. Was a bit scary walking alone by myself as a young woman through a dark alleyway to the Middle pub around heaps of drunk people for check in. Once I got to the room it was fine. Clean and tidy. I did not use the showers or anything.

Just the check in process was a bit dodgy especially for a young lady coming at night.

The staff servicing rooms were delightful.

Checking in was hopeless. Collecting the key from the hotel where I had to wait nearly 15 mins until someone came was annoying. This information should have been on the booking form. A key box would have been more efficient.And the man was not congenial.

The proximity to Brunswick Heads.

After 4 hours of driving at night and after getting the last parking spot at the motel to unload , having to walk in town to get the key wasn't great especially when you're a woman on your own. I would recommend staying at the Middle Bar Pub instead where you have to collect the key. There is more action.

Has all the basics you need for a couple of nights stay.

The bed was comfortable.

There was no microwave that was requested. The room was a long way to carry our luggage. There was a lot of noise from the renovations & workers. You had to run the hot water for a long time before it warmed up & it ran out fast.

It was convenient in town

Checking in at the disgusting Middle Pub was insulting and revolting
