The location was great, it is a beautiful spot 5 mins away from La Playita Beach. Highly recommended place to stay!! The beach that is close by it's beautiful and you won't need more than that! You will need to drive to the main street where all the restaurants are, but other than that, this place is great!

You need transportation to the restaurant area, you could walk, but it could take a while.

We stayed for 5 nights and liked the apartment a lot. Stefano was really helpful via WhatsApp and the staff was very friendly and helpful too. The location was 5 minutes walk from the beach, beautiful and peaceful, since it wasn’t right next to main street. The environment was lovely - few cows walked free in the park next to hotel! <3 The kitchenette had everything we needed.

We didn’t get the info when booking that you can pay only by cash, and it cost us 40 euros to get the extra cash from ATM. Bed was “well slept”, and there was a pit in it. Wifi worked mainly outdoors.

Cozy, clean and full equipped apartment. Great swimming pool and location... few minutes walk from Playita and Playa Las galeras. We liked so much that extended our stay from 3 to 5 nights.

it’s very quite, the balcony is nice, good to have a pool, beach in walking distance. Mosquito nets everywhere.

too many mosquitos, internet is not always stable, doesn’t look as nice as on the picture. However we extended our stay because there was nothing else available and it wasn’t too bad.

The bed could have been more comfortable and the pillows as well. The apartment has poor lighting, too dark . The living room not very comfortable seating furniture.

Comfortable apartment close to La Playita. Pool is nice, very calm area. We had a great time! Even though we had a little problem with our reservation, the administrator proposed a very reasonable solution.

This stay is a great location in Las Galeras - a beautiful walk to Playita (beach) and a nice distance walk into town (also peaceful and pleasant). It’s a very relaxing location, pool and with kind staff. Meals at Villa Serena nearby are a nice option for a view or if you desire additional diet options. The host is easily reachable and welcoming, fluent in various languages. Some Spanish or French is helpful in this area though you can get by without being practiced. I stayed here and in the area for nearly 3 weeks solo with no problems.

The location was central to the town centre and a number of restaurants . Playa Playita just a short walk too. The pool area and gardens are beautiful so we spent a lot of time around it. The kitchen offered more than expected when comparing to other places we have stayed. This includes a good working stove, toaster, blender and sufficient pots and pans. The bed was comfortable; bedding nice and towels as well. The staff are very friendly , professional and Stefano extremely helpful.

Although clean bedding and towels are available and plentiful, cleaning of the apartment is not included . We were there for 2 weeks and didn't mind sweeping and keeping the kitchen clean. We weren't, however, about to go out and buy cleaning supplies.

We were there during the week and it was very quiet. We liked the care from the owner. He was away but contacted us to make sure we had directions. As well, he contacted us after we arrived to check that all was good. And it was.

The place was superb clean. I am particular in cleanliness and i think it exceed my expectation. the location is great, quiet and peaceful surrounding. The room is very complete. The stay at the hotel definitely felt safe!

Just that the location in google map need to be update, or signboard direction to the hotel must be more clear.

The location was perfect, 5 minutes walk to the beach yet far away from the normal excessive noise that sometimes in the Dominican Republic can be intrusive.

The cleaning of the beautiful pool earlier in the morning as such going for an early dip at 8 am the water was full of insects and grime. Was not cleaned until around 10 am at which time is a little too late. It was a Sunday however but still. The kitchen needs a bit of re-modeling as very outdated just my opinion.

El Pelicano is a beautiful and lovely place. 500m left is la playita, 800m right is las galeras beach. The apartment has everything you need. Luis and Stefano are very atencious. The pool is very good.

This is not about de accommodation. Las Galeras is a rustic place. No supermarkets or big stores. I recommend to buy all the items out of there.
