The on site restaurant was so good we hardly cooked. House views are beautiful. Nice quiet location but still super easy to get to shopping and savannah. Great place!

while this property is pet friendly, the beach is not, you can not take your dog on the beach. Also, there's 3 levels to this condo, so if you have weak/bad knees, this is not a place for you because there's no way out but to go up and down steep stairs. It's a beautiful condo, just has it's challenges.

We use to come with our Mother and get 3 nights for $900. Now 3 nights was $2700. We didn’t even get an alarm clock in our room. Only one bedside table. No colors. NO CURTAINS on the living room to block the high intense sun. Pool closed at 6 on Friday?

Great location, views were beautiful, plenty of room and nice to have garage but its tight so unless you are driving a sedan or smaller you will have to park outside the garage. didn't realize when i booked there were so many stairs - tall staircase from garage to main floor and tall to second level bedrooms. Wore us out a bit and not fun with groceries, suitcases etc. but we used the exercise to justify the meals we ate! Food at onsite restaurant was delicious.

Easy access to the beach was important and appreciated. The one car garage was useful for my husband’s bike storage. This would not be a good rental for someone who can’t easily climb stairs. Proximity to a bar and restaurant next-door came in handy many times. The king size bed in the primary was a bit too firm for my taste, but my husband was fine; two twin beds we’re comfortable, and the queen size bed on the main level was very soft, comfortable. Ocean view was great. There are two balconies. Wi-Fi service was spotty at times and difficult for my husband during the workday but he got through it with work arounds. There are many pots and pans to choose from for cooking. We added a cookie sheet for future guests. Plastic wrap and plastic, baggies or Tupperware would be a benefit to any future guests but it is not typical to find them in rentals. We left the ones we bought. I appreciated that they were bars of soap to start out with and plenty of toilet paper and shampoo and conditioner. The clothes washer and dryer worked well and detergent was left for us to use which was nice. The dryer vent had not been clean for a while so I cleaned that out. Towels were very soft and bedding was high quality. I would definitely stay at this rental again.

We didn't need all this room, but like I said, last minute. So happy we rented this lovely town home. First of all, we love Beachside Colony. We've been there several times and rented different units. This unit has a garage that could possibly fit two vehicles (front to back). You come in the front door, then up stairs to the main level with a great balcony and ocean view. Then up stairs to the top level. Another fantastic ocean view on a balcony from the master bedroom. The washer and dryer are a plus (stacked unit). And our favorite place to eat, "The Deck", is right on the property. We had some drinks outside at the bar, then a great dinner our first night there. The staff at the restaurant are always great and the food is fantastic. If you like grouper, you won't be disappointed. We're thinking of bringing some family down with us the next time, as this place is fantastic. There are beach chairs and toys for the kids in the garage. There are also beach chairs with umbrellas to rent for $40 from a separate business. But I think they only set up on Thursdays to Sundays. We loved our stay and look forward to returning to Beachside Colony again.

Townhome was fully stocked and had everything our family of 5 needed. The property was gorgeous and we were just steps from the beach. Sunrises from the balconies were our favorite. The restaurant on-site was an extra perk. My only suggestion is maybe a curtain on the main floor doors. At the same time, the view was breathtaking. The sun was a little bright in the am for the person sleeping on the pull-out. Not a downfall by any means. Also, we weren't aware we could park in the garage (which made the neighbors mad) but a quick phone call from the manager and we moved our second vehicle in. All in all, I would say we will definitely be back to this beautiful place!

The town house itself was clean, roomy and comfortable just as described in the listing. Private access to the beach from the back entrance was wonderful. Just a short walk over the dune and you are on the beach. The Deck restaurant right next door had great food an outside beach side deck for dining and wonderful service. It is a little far to walk to the main shops in town, I would recommend a golf cart rental or bike rental if you do not want to move your vehicle. The unit has a gated entry and a two car garage. Check in was quick and easy as well as check out. I would recommend this rental for relatives and friends.

The dishes were not washed or clean. We ended up driving out and purchasing our own to use which was very upsetting. The WiFi didn’t work the whole time we were there. The garage was full of old trash, beat up boogie boards, broken beach chairs, etc. it was gross and such an eye sore. The pools were shut down most of our stay which is disappointing bc with our kids we spend most of our time at the pool. Pools were not very clean either. They were full of sand, bugs and random small pieces of trash/debris. The pool deck was gross. Small trash laying everywhere. The didn’t sweep up the debris falling from the trees so you had to walk on it instead of a clean clear pool deck. The chairs at the pool need upgraded too they seemed to be super old and worn out. The girl at the front desk was nice and apologized but that didn’t change the fact the whole overall condo was absolutely terrible. She even told me it’s one of the worst condos they have and they’re trying to get the owners to upgrade. We did call the office twice to tell the issues and didn’t get an answer so we let it go until checkout just bc we were trying to enjoy our time and since we already paid we were trying to make the best of it. The only good thing was the condo had an amazing ocean view and was beachfront. Overall. We wouldn’t recommend this resort and defiantly not the condo we had! To the owners: as much as you charge, UPGRADE YOUR CONDO!

Location was great but the place is in the need of some serious TLC! Not clean at all! Fridge had stains on the lower half of it. Dish washer did not work properly, many broken spokes and rust in the dish rack. It needs to be replaced. No dish drain so we could dry our dishes. Handle on the stove broke off completely while trying to open it. Place was not stocked with dish soap, hand soap, etc and described in ad. No blind in kid's BR. Incomplete kitchen, had to go buy a can opener, measuring cups, etc. This is a separate set of buildings from the rest of Beach Side Colony, so beware that this is a 3 story unit, not a single story like the others. Will return here again someday, just not this unit.

The location is perfect, as it is located directly oceanfront and at Mid Beach. This year we stayed in Atlantic Ocean Home #09, which is a townhome. We loved it. It is directly adjacent to the main office in a gated community. We enjoyed access to the on-site restaurant, The Deck, and three beautiful and well-maintained pools. The pool area is super clean and comfortable and is only steps from the beach. Food and drinks from The Deck are some of the best on the island. Our townhome was super clean and furnished nicely. We had our own entrance to the beach, which was only steps away from our door. The view from the master bedroom and the living room is amazing. The property was beautifully maintained and well-cared for. I can't say enough about the staff at Beachside Colony. They are super friendly and helpful and always go above and beyond to make sure that my family and I are comfortable and have everything we need for the perfect vacation. The only thing that I would recommend about this property is that more photos be added to the site. I strongly recommend this townhome and all other Beachside Colony rentals to anyone. I am already planning my next trip!

The property overall was very nice. Great view of the beach. We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the unit. The floors in the living area/kitchen were dirty. When we first got there and walked barefoot bottom of our feet were black, and we had just gotten there. The master bath had mold around tub and in jets in tub and there was a dirty wash cloth in cabinet under the sink in master. The carpet in master had trash on the floor. The bathroom on the kitchen level had mold and the shower curtain had mold. We had to pay a cleaning fee and we were instructed to clean up before we left. Which I understand taking out trash and stripping beds. But the cleaning fee we paid should be used for cleaning floors and tubs.
