Absolutely stunning views over the valley of Hermigua and right down to the ocean. This is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed at. In the evenings, you fall asleep to the sound of crickets, in the mornings, you wake up to the sound of chirping birds. The cottage boasts a beautiful and spacious terrace and offers lots of privacy. The washing machine was a real bonus. We also loved occasional visits from endemic lizards and tiny geckos taking care of the mosquitos! :) . The cottage itself can get quite dark but it's part of a clever architecture that keeps the property shielded from the sun. We enjoyed the hike up and down the hillside but it could potentially be a challenge for the elderly or physically diverse. Communication was absolutely brilliant and the hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Shower doesn't drain well. Hard to communicate with. Don't like emailing passports. Been advised this is a major security risk.

Amazing views, very quiet location

The house is beautifully situated in Hermigua with a great view up and down the valley (and over to Teide on Tenerife) from the terrace. The interior decor is great and it was very cosy in January so I didn't need the heater provided. I was able to work from there for a couple of days and had no issues with the wifi.

It is a bit of a steep walk down to the shops and restaurants (and up after!), which is worth being aware of if you don't have a car (it was fine for me!).

This is a beautiful, small rural house with a huge patio and sun almost all day. The views are beautiful, there are some really nice restaurants around, great hiking, and the host was very friendly and flexible. You have lots of privacy. Really recommended - nicest place we stayed in the Canaries!

Only slight thing is that it is a steep 15 minute walk down to the (very cute) village. But it’s a short drive and the walk is good exercise!

Fabulous stay! Beautiful views from the terrace, well equipped kitchen and overall casa was just fantastic!

We would not choose to stay in Hermigua again at this time of year. During the winter month it is always cloudy there. Regarding the house itself it was a bit nice but not too cosy inside.
