Rosedale Estate offered everything we wanted. A large kitchen, nice rooms for a big group, a BBQ and entertainment. The kids loved the pool and play ground the adults enjoyed the outdoor area, the fresh eggs and all the space. We had a great time. Thank you

A beautiful spacious well-maintained property to stay at with an enormous communal table. Secluded but yet close to everything. Love the separate lounge areas. Bathrooms are a little tired.

We loved Lovedale
Rosedale estate was set on beautiful landscapes gardens with a vegetable garden, chicken coup and pool. The location was great and close to wineries.

Great house for large groups
Had a lovely girls weekend away here!
The property is nice! It’s right on the main road, but wasn’t too noisy as it’s not a busy road. Chickens and veg patch were a lovely addition, nice to have fresh eggs in the morning and the tomato’s were delicious!
The pool was so lovely, esp in the afternoon when it’s not in direct sunlight! Although you could smell wafts from the septic tank. A guy unexpectedly showed up to fix it, which wasn’t communicated to us, but didn’t really seem to help. Was only every now and then though, so not a big deal and probably due to the very hot day!
Aircon is only in some rooms, not working in kitchen/dining so it was a little hot with cooking/dining but otherwise the house was super comfy and accommodating for large groups!
We forgot toilet paper, and they were kind enough to drop some to us!
Overall a lovely stay! Recommend spending a weekend away here for sure!
Communicating with Steph at Hunter Valley stays was great, she was prompt and very helpful!

Our Daughters Wedding
We have a fairly large family and were keen for us all to stay together for our daughters wedding. There were 17 of us, the property was excellent for such a large group. There was a great kitchen and dining set up where we spent most of our time if we were not outside enjoying the view. We had an lovely weekend.

SIBLINGS WEEKEND
Each year around early November our siblings group tries to find a sizable place to stay for the weekend to catch-up and simply chill out together. This year’s stay has been agreed as one of the best. With 11 people finding 7 bedrooms with a reasonable number of bathrooms is always an issue. Having 4 en-suites and 2 other bathrooms was the bonus. Add to that the well maintained surrounds and the popular pool it was easy to make the decision. While our stay is not usually in the same place twice we are always on the lookout for a property within 4 hours of Sydney and within reasonable reach of those are country residents. The Hunter Valley region gave us more external activities than ever before and our two full days here have been relaxing and enjoyable. We would like to thank the owners for their generosity in making available their vegetables garden and the chicken coop eggs. No that’s a bonus that isn’t in any advertising and surprised and delighted us on arrival. The icing on an already wonderful cake.

Family time
Rosedale Estate was perfect for a family get together to celebrate a birthday. It catered superbly for age range from 3 yrs to over 60s. The kids loved the play area, the tyre swing and collecting eggs from the hens for their breakfast. We made a huge roast lunch in the superbly equipped kitchen and loved the wood burning fires in the 2 lounges. Can definitely recommend this property all year round.

Cottage feel with room to move
“Rosedale Estate was perfect for our annual Hunter Valley trip. We are two families with grown up (married) children and this property suited us well (6 couples). We were able to dine together easily and it was lovely to have a bathroom for each couple too! Very happy with our stay and the booking process was easy and straightforward.”

A great venue for our party . Plenty of room ,a great pool ,fabulous vege garden + chooks .Comfy rooms and facilities. Late night dinners ,star gazing and sleep ins ...a great place ...Oh and close to lots of wineries and activities.

Fabulous, beautiful rose gardens
13 mature ladies enjoyed the pool, the fresh eggs and veggie garden. A night at the Christmas lights, morning at the craft markets and in house beauty treatments made for a wonderfully relaxing weekend.

“I have seen photographs of Rosedale Estate for the past 5 years but the actual property surpassed my expectations and assumptions. It was perfect for our group of 10 single, mature men. Comfort, everything you could ever imaging needing, tables big enough for all of us to sit at and dine with ease and fresh eggs laid each day! Amazing. We all voted that we’ll endeavour to make this an annual experience.”

Loved our stay at Rosedale
We loved Rosedale Estate. We came up for a concert with 7 couples and we had an absolute ball. The property was perfect for us all, well appointed, so comfortable and we loved collecting the eggs from the chooks in the morning for our brekkie. Great stay !!!

Beautifully appointed
Rosedale Estate was perfect for our family weekend. The accommodation is luxurious, with beautiful bedrooms, living areas and gardens. We easily had 16 people around the table for dinner, and enough space for everyone to relax. We especially loved the chickens who gave us fresh eggs each morning! I would love to stay here again, particularly in late spring when more of the blossoms will be out.

Had a wonderful weekend
The property was perfect for our weekend away. We had 7 couples celebrating a 50th birthday. It was in a great location and had a lovely ambience. We collected almost 4 doz eggs over the weekend and used some of the fresh produce from the garden. Comfortable beds and lovely decor. We had a really great stay

Wonderful weekend away
We had a perfect weekend away at Rosedale Estate celebrating my mother's 70th birthday with three generations of family members. The living areas and bedrooms were large, comfortable and spotless and more than adequate for our family of 8 adults and 5 children. The generous indoor and outdoor spaces also allowed everyone, including the teenagers, to do their own thing when they needed to. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather and used the pool for almost the entire stay. The fresh eggs daily and vegetable garden were an added bonus and the kitchen was well stocked. There were many other small touches and gifts that made our stay particularly enjoyable: fresh ground coffee, olive oil and a bottle of local verdelho on arrival. Hunter Valley Stayz were also excellent to deal with as were the staff of Hunter Concierge who came in on the Saturday night to cook a special celebration dinner. We were already thinking about an excuse to stay again before we left.

Excellent Extended Family Stay
Wonderful relaxing few days away with the family. Sasha & John are an absolute credit to the company. When we woke up to no power and water, they went above and beyond the call of duty. The boys loved the pool and collecting fresh eggs each morning. Thank you for having us! Would highly recommend this property!
