- Apartment needs some renovation though, curtains way too long, balcony needs a new floor, wardrobes need to be emptied for guests - No recycling, no different bins (paper, plastic,...), not sustainable

Close to my friends house and close to the city centre. Very nice and safe bike storage.

Too many stars to climb up to apartment. No door to apartment, wide open style. Heating system inadequate. Not to my liking but others may like it as it is a convoluted group of rooms and an open space to stairway. Balcony not well kept. Some happiness is missing.

Everything you need is provided: comfortable bedroom, lounge, bathroom, kitchen with kettle and coffee machine. Fresh bread is delivered to the foot of the stairs every morning. The place was very clean and easy to reach from the city centre. Our host was friendly and helpful.

The hosts are really kind and lovely! And the house is cosy! It seemed like we are living in a typical Dutch house, which added a nice feeling to our visit. Upon arrival we where asked at what time we would like to have a fresh bread for breakfast. Rest of the food for breakfast was already in the fridge. The bread was brought still warm in the morning and left downstairs. Location is good, it's only few minutes walk from the city center. Living room has a TV with Netflix.

It was a bit too chilly for us even with a heating set to maximum.

Situation : close to city center Bathroom was big (although a bit chilly)

All equipments announced were not available (no WiFi, no Netflix, parking was not free, same price as anywhere in the street 12€/day) No solution to unpack in the room (it was not a room, it was a library) Fridge was not necessary (and noisy during the night) Curtains did not block the sunlight/streetlight Street was quite busy since early in the morning (hospital across the street) Breakfast was nice but not "stellar" (bread from supermarket, same for jam and cheese) Arrival & communication with the host were a bit difficult, they kinda avoided to talk directly to us. We spoke in english but were answered in Dutch (we understood enough but not everything)

A very cosy home from home. Clean, comfortable, great location, easy parking, lovely breakfast, very welcoming and friendly.

Comfortable stay, the bedroom is in a large room, the library, with a dining table and facilities for coffee tea breakfast also microwave available. This is in an excellent location and included a lovely breakfast with eggs you can boil yourself. Fresh hot bread in the mornings made it lovely. Historical books in the room made a lovely stay so much better than a standard hotel of you want to feel like you are authentically in Groningen.

The breakfast and location were excellent...
