It was hard to find in the dark and very cold on arrival. But cozy by the next day.

Needed a cheap place for 2+4 that was cheap and we would be able to cook to minimise costs.
• Room heaters are slow but effective. Rudimentary drying cupboard with a fan heater and a clothes rack. The bunks are solid.
• Reported the hot water as a fault to the owner - an electrician, inspected it and advised it’s off-peak and insufficient for 6 people. 3 people had to birdbath each day.
• Dining area is the kitchen bench. 5 bar stools but only usable space for 4 once seated.
• Stove plates too small to heat most of the pots, electrician said they should be the same size or larger than the pot to be effective. Can simmer water in the smallest pot but not enough to boil. Oven is slow as it’s convection only.
• Ant infestation in the kitchen, after spraying they reappeared via a different gap.
• Kettle doesn't always turn itself off so don’t leave it unattended.
• Cutlery, cooking gear, plates and cups were dirty with grease and baked-on food. Cups wiped, not washed. We washed everything before use. The electric fry pan was good but the legs were broken. Cleaner clearly doesn't check the dishes.
• Kitchen drawers need to be held when opened or they risk falling out.
• Cups are a random eclectic mix from an op-shop with some with cracks or chips.
• Door is at the back.
• Ski racks are too narrow.
• The front parking spot usable due to the neighbour parking wide. Rear parking requires an 8-point turn and access has a 5cm clearance each side of the vehicle.
• Bathroom is a basin, shower, laundry tub, washing machine and toilet in one room. Good heater but the window has a gap in the glass that leaks heat/cold. Shower screen cracked and the glass and tile grout have mould. Tiles in the middle of the floor are loose and sharp. The amount of dirt under these would indicate it isn’t a recent problem.
• The rest of the unit looks like it was an 80's build that has been DIY'd ever since.
• There is no vacuum cleaner.
Dealing with owner:
Checkin: Stayz 2pm, Owner 4pm. Referring us to their electrician is not reasonable, it's their stuff, how am I supposed to resolve it? Just because we found a problem and reported it first doesn't mean it isn't legitimate.
Some improvements made when looking at previous comments. While there are beds for 6 people it isn't suitable for 6 people unless you are into cold showers and don't cook. I would never stay here again and would advise you to pay more and look elsewhere.

The property was a great place to stay for a few days at the snow. It was comfortable with good heating and close to the centre of Jindabyne. Communication with our host was easy and she was very helpful and always available. A suggestion would be to include wifi for guests as one of our party had to work remotely during our stay, however, it wasn't a major concern. Overall a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

Our booking was completely disrupted due to Covid lockdowns and Dominica was just fantastic to deal with. We changed dates multiple times and then finally had to cancel completely and were immediately offered full credit or refund. Fantastic service and we will definitely rebook once we are free from lockdown

NEVER AGAIN
I sadly would not recommend a stay in this accomodation. Out of all the holidays houses I have experienced, I have never had an experience quite as bad as this one. Firstly check in was confirmed for 2pm, both the owner and Stayz had sent messages stating this time. Upon arriving at 3:30pm, The accomodation had not yet been cleaned including filthy floors, unmade beds, dishes out on the kitchen. Owner’s excuse when calling her was that their cleaning lady had been too busy but also said she accidentally forgot to change the check-in time to 4pm. My family and I had been travelling in the car for 6 hours, she then asked us to leave and return later on, so we had to sit in our car on a nearby street for an hour till we went back into the accomodation. This was very disappointing experience. To add to the poor service, when we returned the quilts that had been there when we arrived also had not been changed. So so disappointing. Will not be returning to this accomodation and would not recommend.

Not a very nice stay
The premises were quite dirty. Place is outdated and has a lot of broken things. Bathroom had spider webs and mould inside with tiles coming out. Heaters were very outdated and some didn’t work. A lot of things could’ve been painted over but they hadn’t been. A cupboard door was broken.
Overall the place was very old and needed a lot of renovations. Very displeased with my stay and will never stay again. The price was to expensive for a rundown unit.

Great staging post for the snow
We stayed for a night on our way to an early Skitube trip to our mountain accommodation. The apartment was clean and snug and good value for two adults and our two teenage children. Being close to the facilities in Jindabyne was an added bonus.

Warm and Dry but Extreme neglect.
The first thing you notice is the property is in poor state of repair with unkept grounds is various states of disrepair. Once you reach the door you see there are two key safes, one is destroyed and not removed when the new one was installed below it.
Then you find the "drying room" which is just a wardrobe with broken doors. This theme continues throughout the property.
Just about everything is broken or has its own flavour of disappointment.
The bunk beds are noisy and wobbly I chose to put my mattress on the floor. The bathroom is covered in dead insects and resident to two spiders. The taps drip unless done up by the Hulk. However, there was plentiful hot water for four people with excellent pressure.
The washing machine actually worked, but extremely small and old. There are plenty of heaters however half of them were broken to the point of falling over. Only the wall mounted heaters were not broken and worked as expected.
The second story floor creaked extremely loudly when walked on, it is literally impossible to sleep downstairs in the bedrooms if anyone is moving around upstairs. I do not know how the neighbours allow it to continue as I fully expect that they would be disturbed by it as well.
The Kitchen has broken cupboards, draws. We didn’t do any cooking so do not know if the stove or oven worked. The kettle and toaster did work.
Generally speaking, our stay was successful, we had somewhere warm and dry to stay, as well as the ability to clean ourselves and our gear. The unit did what I paid for it to do; however, it is the worst place I have ever rented.
I do feel that the unit is misrepresented in the photos but at the same time I do not feel mislead. You get what you pay for and in this case, I paid a low price and got minimum in return.
I would consider staying here again, so it can’t be all bad, but I would exhaust all other options first.
During our Stay there was a water leak on the property that resulted in the water being interrupted for short periods of time, this was manageable and didn’t impact us directly. The biggest problem with this was the communication with the rental manager was terrible. She expected me to contact the various people to find out repairs and ETAs for water. Every enquiry I had was met with, directing me to someone else to solve my own problems. This unit is very much out of touch with its manager who is more then happy to sit back and let it fall into disrepair.

Good budget accom in a great location
This was the perfect base for our snow trip. We were two adults and two kids and had three nights while skiing at Perisher. Great location, lots of space, well equipped kitchen and lots of heaters. The place is a bit run down and basic, but a good budget option for a cosy place to sleep and cook a meal. We go to the snow regularly and when we're there we leave the house early in the morning and go to bed early in the evening, so this simple spot was perfect for us.

Great Ski Weekend
I am a ski instructor that works over seas and wanted a simple place that would feel like home, this property has checked all the boxes and most importantly felt like a home for the short time I stayed there. I would highly recommend this place!

Great place for a great price
Skihi3 was exactly what we needed for a weekend away with friends and we had a great time. The owner was very prompt with any enquiries which was very helpful. Only a short 1-2 minute drive to the shops. The heaters take a while to get going so bring your winter pjs if you're a frog. Entry was around the back so slightly tricky to find when we arrived late at night but during the day it's clear. Overall, would definitely stay again!
