Breakfast was excellent and the location was beautiful. The scenery surrounding the hotel was magnificent

Unfortunately the WIFI and Aircon were not working at the time of our stay so both of them would have made it even better.

I arrived really late and very stressed with a sick dog. I was dying for a glass of wine and something nice to eat, the patron went out of his way to fetch me a glass of delicious local wine and nourishing, tasty, regional cuisine made from beef feather blade and foraged mushrooms. I couldn't have asked for more, it was just what was needed. Previous experiences on this journey had been far less hospitable and welcoming. The breakfast was a feast of local cured meats and tomato bread, with a glass of orange juice and a decent coffee. Overall this place showed what too many hospitality venues lack these days, lovely food and wine, kindly reception and an attention to your individual needs. What a lovely little place.

The decor was perhaps a little cluttered, not something I would usually feel inclined to complain about but I had a large dog with a long strong tail and it made me feel nervous we might break something

We were only passing through but the hotel was great for our overnight needs - clean and comfortable. We did have breakfast before we left which was plentiful and set us up for the next part of our journey. The hotel is situated in a beautiful area. A shame we didn't have more time to explore.
