Amazing place, location, food and staff!

The rooms facing to the back are noisy.

Beautiful hotel with huge territory. Friendly personnel, great food and most comfortable beds. Beach is also really nice. We are definitely coming back again.

Only downside is that despite the fact that the hotel is announced as dog-friendly one can only have the dog in the room, lobby and on 2 sunbeds hidden away in the corner next to spa. We should have checked detailed rules before booking as it turns out all „dog-friendly“ hotels in Ascona are following the same policy. Personnel did their best to make our stay with the dog more pleasant, but next time we are coming without him for sure. If you have a choice I would advise to leave your 4-legged friends at home.

The head waiter of the main restaurant eyed us critically and reacted gruffly to the fact that we had no reservation for the restaurant. Yet numerous tables remained unoccupied on that night.

Beautiful setting, great accommodations and very friendly staff.

We were under the impression our certified service dog would be able to accompany us throughout the facilities. Unfortunately, he was not allowed in any of the restaurants with the exception of one lounge area. Therefore, we could not enjoy all the beautiful dining areas at the facility. This is just about the first time we have paid for this level of accommodations where our very certified service dog could not accompany us. We would like to return, but this was a very big disappointment.

rooms are beautiful and nicely laid out property is very large with beautiful landscaping pool and spa are both fantastic lake beach is also beautiful restaurants are both delicious staff is very efficient and courteous property is perfect both for families with children and couples one of my best experiences in a relais and chateaux

the location is amazing . the park is absolutely divine , it ends on a lovely beach. we were travelling with a dog and they were really welcoming , we really appreciated. the tennis courts are great as well :)

the pool was really too cold. the only low side of an amazing property.
