Cold shower, non working ac, no food

Good Distance to the Airport.

All Windows had look out to a wall. Due to this the room was dark even at daylight. Shower drainig doesn't work. Overall cleaning was not that good.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Wish they had name tags to remember names more. Front Desk and laundry staff were kind and helpful. Nick the bar manager was great. Pool was great, and a nice addition. Taxi/ Haylup was easily accessible and Dillon was great. Vans #1 are just as accessible on the main road, they do charge extra for a drop back ( from terminal in town etc.) since the hotel is off their route. ($7 /7.50 instead of $2.50 for short distances) My deluxe apartment was exceptional,I'm a sucker for top floor and sunlight. I may have cooked if I stayed here longer but every thing worked. A nice set up and right next to the airport.

The pool didn't have any feet signs( max & min depth) but it wasn't deep at all. I had breakfast and lunch there on separate days. They didn't always have the main menu options and I had to ask if they didn't have xyz when given my order instead of being told/ offered alternatives. The toilet was stained but functional, few towels had stains / off white look.

Close proximity to the airport which was perfect as it was only an overnight stray between flights.

the apartment looked onto close concrete walls; staff were slow and unhelpful; our arranged transfer never arrived; breakfast was poultry and poor quality and the owner showed no concern for our constructive, polite comments

Loved everything about La Heliconia. Requests were dealt with promptly. Felt like I was amongst family. Real nice personal touch. Couldn't ask for more from the staff / team. Friendly and professional. Food on point! Spa was amazing. Karima was just superb. Keep up the good works all, I will certainly be back.

Room was very comfortable with good sitting area and modern kitchen area (although we only stayed overnight after flight arrival. Very close to airport. Breakfast was excellent

Appeared deserted when we arrived. No one at reception. Eventually barman booked us in. Restaurant wasn’t open (except for breakfast) Effects of Covid restrictions still applying

staff were very rude and not helpful service was very poor we ordered lunch and was given uncooked chicken. tables by the pool side were very dirty. Fridge door in the apartment very dirty Do not advertise correctly what the free breakfast is if you order a full English breakfast you are charged an extra 10 EC dollars I booked two apartments and was given one apartment with two bedrooms The wait time for ordering for was nearly 1 hour I was told they were short staff I would not recommend staying at this hotel
