Rooms were very spacious and clean and staff was very friendly. Food was great. Location was close to major attractions and malls with plenty of shopping nearby.
Transportation was easily available near to hotel.
Would recommend to solo and families too.

Location: no other decent hotel in the nearby area. Close to Lulu shopping centre. Professional and helpful front desk staff. Small but nice & friendly lobby area. Room was reasonably spacious and was clean. Restaurant has nice ambience and tasty food. There is also another vegetarian restaurant at 5 minutes' walk from the hotel.
The bed was old and was sagging in the middle, which meant I ended up with a painful back by the morning. Bedsheet and pillow covers had stains on them. Terribly insufficient lightning at night in the room. Bathroom didn't have enough hangers to keep towels, napkins etc. Laundry service was, quite frankly, poor - my clothes came back with additional stains that were not there originally. Housekeeping services were very slow - things only got down after calling them 2 or 3 times. Not the staff's fault, though, because they are understaffed. Marriott brand can certainly afford to do better than this.

The facility lacked a lot of things. There was no soap in one room, in another no towels.
In general the staff wasn't that attentive. They were obnoxiously slow.

I liked the comfortable bed and the pillow. It's very rare for hotel to provide comfortable bedding. Fairfield by Marriott Rajajinagar gets full scores on that.
I also liked the room as it was quite spacious and well lit with amenities like a mini fridge, a laptop desk, wardrobe, full size mirror and sofa
The hotel is very well connected to the old Bangalore and situated right opposite to the new Lulu Hypermarket. This makes it easy to commute by the autos on meter.
The toilet wasn't cleaned very well and the shower area didn't have a vent. So it used to stink and become completely misty after every shower.
For a Marriott hotel, the room didn't have hair dryer or quality toilet roll, body wash or shampoo.
Although the room was booked for three people, we were not provided with 3 towels and 1 additional blanket. They needed constant reminders for the towels. It's something you'd like to think that they'll be mindful after the first reminder but not. Evident communication gap between the ground staff and the management team.
The food unfortunately wasn't great considering the whopping amount they charge for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They seem to recycle the same food in the buffet. Twice the chutney went bad and we had to inform them. The idli wasn't steamed properly and I make better dosa then these guys. It's a shame that they're in one of the most prominent south Indian cities and yet seem unwilling to put in the required effort to properly represent it through food, especially when it comes to serving something as simple as idli, dosa and chutney.
Milk was missing in the cornflakes area a couple of times.
The black forest cake that we ordered for our child smelled stale. My child ended up with a minor tummy ache after eating just half of it. We had a flight to catch so couldn't raise the issue in the hotel. Rest of the offerings in the buffet was edible. Dinner buffet had good choices for dessert and main vegetarian meal options.
Often times, the napkins were often missing. We had to go hunting on other tables. The amount of money they charge, the service is below average. Some of the ground staff seemed too scared to respond to something as simple as can I take the dessert bowl to my room. They simply stare at you and fumble meekly. Please treat your staff well as they're supposed to.

The location and the bed
The room I was given first was so dirty. Dusty and the toilet was so dirty. Toilet itself had red stains. Hand shower’s and all were not cleaned. Shower area seemed like a public shower room. Some public wash rooms are even cleaner. Black stains and rust. White tiles literally were black. I do have pics if needed. Housekeeping needs to do a final checkup before releasing the rooms. Iron board was missing. Iron was missing. After we changed our room, iron was there but not the iron board. The iron in the room was broken though. I requested for the items around 21:15 had to go back around 00:30 to the reception and request for it again. Breakfast was so very limited with almost only indian food. There was only butter at the buffet and when asked for Jam we were told that Jam available to spread on the bread. Which is unacceptable. When my girlfriend ordered for a milk coffee it was served in a plastic takeaway cup. It was so hot they put 02 cups together and served it. And both our reaction was does this marriot hotel have no proper cups. This is was not the first Marriott property I have been to but by far the worst. Cleanliness 0. Came across some friendly staffs though. Shoutout to Jithu who was very helpful.
