It is located at the centre of Xiamen Island (yes, within the island, that is important), right next to a metro station exit. It is perfect for travelers like me who prefer taking public transport. If you know how to take public transport in China, most attractions are within 30 mins. It's not on the tourist spot so it's quite quiet. There are several shopping malls and local resturants nearby. The hotel even got their own souvenir shop within the building downstairs, they have good variates of worth-buying local souvenirs (not same as those "everywhere-is-the-same" souvenirs), at very affordable price. There are plenty of choices for breakfast, mostly oriental. The hotel is clean. Well trained staffs provide smooth service during check in and check out, answer basic inquiries, and provide assistance on deliveries. You need to tap your room card in the elevator to access the designated level, good for security. The room I got is newly decorated, a bit small, but enough for me, a solo traveler. The toiletries smell good.

If you are a foreign tourist on a free and easy trip, to aviod dissapointment, remember to book all attraction tickets and ferry tickets in advance. Most of the attraction spots need to book 3-5 days in advance to get in. For ferry tickets to GuLangYu Island, book early, or go to the ferry center EARLY to queue for tickets. Avoid peak seasons if you can. I hope the hotel staff can do a bit further to assit the bookings as the local booking system is currently not open to foreigners. For laundry, The hotel charge 20 CNY for washing machine, and another 20 CNY for 30 mins of drying machine. So I guess I need to spend another 80 CNY for just one round of laundry (1 time washing + 90 mins drying). Personaly, I have a tight budget, and I am surprised that it's not included at this room rate. So bring your own quick-drying clothes if you feel the same.

房間很大，早餐好吃，櫃檯很有禮貌，隔音還不錯，有兩層窗戶，雖然面臨大馬路，車子喇叭聲因為氣密窗有比較小聲較不被干擾，健身房設施不錯，枕頭有提供兩個，硬軟皆可選

健身房關閉時間比較早，晚上9:00就關閉了，希望可以再晚一點。 中央冷氣空調溫度強，有點冷
