We loved Lilja Guesthouse and stayed two nights so we could explore the local area thoroughly. The rooms were comfortable, warm and there was even fresh coffee in the common area each day. The breakfast was a highlight for us and very welcome after two weeks on the road making our own. We also recommend the restaurant for dinner, make sure to order the chocolate cake! Perhaps the most memorable thing will be the lambs greeting us at our window as they roamed freely around the property which my 9 year old just loved. Would highly recommend Lilja Guesthouse for families and would stay again.

Laundry facilities would have made our stay perfect.

The food was really lovely and staff were a pleasure to deal with. Great location for the northern lights and glacier and a stop on the way east.

Nice breakfast, much choice of food provided! The room and the building is very clean and brand-new. The environment is quiet as nothing around the hotel, just mountains and glacier (you are facing the glacier).

Nothing, I think this room and hotel is perfect if you are driving yourself.

The room was very spacious and you can park the car in front of the building. The location was ideal as it was located near the main road.

There was not enough space in the bathroom to hang clothes/towels and put our toiletries.

Wonderful location with great views. The room was spacious and comfortable. The whole guesthouse was perfectly designed and we'll certainly return one day.

Not a lot to say really. The rooms could do with a fridge.

It was very modern and right off the ring road.

Room size and location

There is a minor machine noisy (Fan or something else) like non stop in whole night, may not suitable for noisy sensitive person, if you are, may avoid room number 17 and 18.

the room they provided us had two twin beds instead of the double one we booked. I liked the way the staff solved the issue giving us a deluxe room at the same price.

The restaurant menu is a bit disappointing, food is average and the staff is not prepared at all regarding tourists informations.

The location was great if you are driving around Iceland, we could see the Northern lights, the room was very clean, and the staff awesome.

Breakfast was a bit pricey for what it was, but it might be the general price over there. Other than that the rest exceeded our expectations !
