Good sized, unheated, pool in large gardens that overlooked the lake. The main road was between the hotel and lake but as the gardens were slightly above the road, noise was virtually non-existant. Breakfast had a good choice and could be taken on the terrace overlooking the pool. The hotel also had free bike hire. Two minutes at most (probably less) from the autobus stop. Small fridge and safe in rooms. The staff are both lovely and professional.
Like all the hotels we stayed in during our Italy trip the hotel could do with a little TLC but this wouldn't stop us staying here again.

We had an amazing 4 night stay and highly recommend San Marco. The front desk staff were always super helpful and spoke a range of languages and the bar staff were good characters and always tried to have a laugh. The rooms were cleaned everyday, had plenty of storage rooms, a mini fridge and bathrooms were good. They offered a range of FREE excursions including canoeing and mountain biking. We did the canoing which was along in Garda and it was good fun, we got to Garda by cycling on the free to rent hotel bikes. The location was perfect, a short walk or even shorter cycle to Lazise and Bardolino and just over the road from the lake. The pool area had plenty of beds and umbrellas and the pool itself was never too crowded. Finally, breakfast was always good, typical Italian spread everyday including meats, cheeses, scrambled and boiled eggs and then a range cereal, breads and hot drinks.
The hairdryers were not as powerful as your normal handheld one. If you have room to bring one I would.

beautiful pool directly opposite lake. it’s a beautiful hotel with excellent staff. the bonus is you can hire bikes for free and travel down 10 min bike ride to Bardolino with a local huge Spa shop for grocery’s.

Just had an amazing 4 night stay here …. Arrived from Venice by train to Peschiera station & then bus to the hotel. The location was in cinsano a 25 min walk to Bardolino town. The room was very spacious and the hotel was immaculately clean - pool area gorgeous with nice pool snacks and drinks by waitress service . So lovely to be by the pool with a view of the lake . There are 3/4 restaurants just over the road to the left overlooking the lake … so not far to go ! Bardolino is a lovely walk again by the lake. Breakfast at the hotel very nice … eggs / ham / pastries / croissants / cereals / coffee and juices .
The staff were All extremely helpful and friendly. The bus back to the airport was a great service - €4.60 each and directly into airport rather than €70 taxi ride ! A fantastic stay and I would highly recommend this hotel and stay again - thank you San Marco 🥰

Upon arrival we were greeted in a charming and very helpful manner. The pool and the view from the terrace is stunning. Special thanks goes to the evening bar manager who was very helpful, well informed and a pleasure to talk to. A true professional.
Room decor was a little dated but acceptable.

The San Marco is a lovely, friendly hotel and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is set back off the main road and the second floor room I had was quiet and comfortable. The walk to Bardolino takes approximately 30 minutes, although buses run hourly. Good location for people who enjoy walking and the lake can be seen from the hotel.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was good in the sense that it was across the street from the lake. The 30 minutes walk to Bordolino center was acceptable. Our room had a huge balcony, overlooking Lake Garda.
No negatives about the hotel. But, I do have one with Bookings… Even though I supposedly received the “Genius Discount”, the rate was still 30€ more than booking directly with the hotel. I wish Bookings would state how much above the hotel rate they charge. Anyway, in this case, we would have been much better off calling the hotel directly instead of going through Bookings.com

Everything was amazing though I wasn't a fan of the evening menu in their lovely Bistro. No simple pasta dishes on evening menu but was a fab dish on the lunch menu. Little to gripe about really.

The location is great, Lake Garda is right in front of you! It's a hard choice between the swimming pool and the lake...
I also appreciated the extremely friendly and helpful staff. One of them assisted us with booking a corona test appointment at the local pharmacy. Another one set us up with a breakfast-to-go as we were travelling back early, and filled up my thermos with coffee for the trip.

We were here just for short time, but we really enjoy our stay. Hotel personal was friendly, our room was clean and with aircondition. Hotel is 15 minutes by feet from centrum. Pool and garden is nice. Breakfast was tasty.
The price is higher but worth it.

Location is great. Next to boulevard, with only the road in between. Sight on lake Garda. Great breakfast. Even lots of glutenfree products available as basic.
