Great location , right at the beach front, excellent room, looking at the beach, enjoyed every moment of stay!

Great location for IM Barcelona. Perfect.

The only gripe, and its a small one, is we found the staff hard work at the hotel. No coffee making facilities in the room and you wernt allowed to take a cup of coffee out of the dining area. Even to sit in the lounge area to relax. Would stay again and bring a small travel kettle.

Relax Zone was my favorite zone. comfy room with excellent service in the reception.

Location is perfect for anybody attending the Ironman event. Friendly staff and really good food. Breakfast buffet was spot on and they provided early breakfast on race day. If I decide to do IRONMAN Barcelona again I will be staying at this hotel again!

We were here for Ironman. The Maritim is in an excellent location for this. The food is always very good and the staff are lovely.

This was my 7th visit to the Maritim, either for Ironman or a training week. I always book a sea view room a year ahead and request either 311, 411, 511 or 611, it is very disappointing not to have been allocated one of these rooms.

Location was very good and close to beach. Breakfasts and dinners were great. Waiters were polite specially guy with long hair.

Receptionist was really rude(old one). Room was not so clean and cleaning request was not accepted by hotel.

The hotel l could not fault but the train that runs in front of the hotel was a real Problem as the noise was constant . On booking this hotel there was no mention of the train which is placed between the hotel and beach yes l booked a sea view room but a train constantly passed throughout the day and night. The resort is ok but l have stayed in a better places, beach great beach food super but evening entertainment pretty limited.

Good breakfast (although I'd love some other vegetables than just tomatoes), close to the beach and town center, nice ocean view from the balcony (need to pay extra to get the ocean view), good daily cleaning.

There is a train line between the hotel and the beach. Although there is a good road under the railway, it has been an unpleasant surprise - the train can be well heard from the room. Air Conditioner was not powerful enough - it was too hot in the room when it was +31 outside. The first thing was the lack of soundproofing for the room. There were large door gaps with light passing through. You could hear everything happening in the corridor - steps, voices, elevator, other doors slamming...

Great food, a variety of fresh dishes, fruits, salads that we never got bored with! The buffet was a delight for us at every dinner and also surprisingly rich in fish and seafood which we love. The location is nice, very close to the beach, train station for train to Barcelona is a 15 min walk. The room was comfortable and with a glimpse to the sea - but some rooms face the back of the hotel, overlooking another hotel - so we were happy with our room and the view. AC worked perfectly well. Maria from the buffet was always very nice to our child and her presence enlightened the dinner :)

Services towards families could be improved or they should not be listed on the website if they do not work. Staff was in general not very animated or not welcoming in particular. My child broke a plate and we were told off by the lady supervising the dinner - he is a 1.5 year old running around which is sometimes difficult to handle even for us - but this is not a business/ adult-only hotel and they should certainly not lecture people for breaking a plate. The play area for children was out of order.

clean and very conveniently located to the beach. lovely views and family friendly hotel. staff were very polite and helpful especially Arjana (lady at dining reception) , who was very courteous and smiling. considering the very busy week we were there, the staff were very attentive and constantly on hand when we were dining at breakfast and dinner.

should be more vegetarian options and eggs fried alongside bacon is not agreeable to vegetarians.
