The staff is super nice and welcoming, we arrived very late and it wasnt a problem at all. Communication was very smooth. The room is nice and for the 2.night we could swap it for a better one. Breakfast is big and tasty.

The rooms are quite damp and cold, they should put some heaters because during the night it gets cold now in december and the clothes get a bit wet too.

The staff was most helpful, engaging in constant conversations with us and also giving very good tips about places to go/eat.

The property is great and extremely well located, in the center, near stores, restaurants, cafes, and even the beach. It is awesomely decorated, with a nice patio where a delicious breakfast is served. Our room was quite big and it was cleaned every day. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. They came up with a solution for every issue we had and were always at the property. There is parking close to the property, a short 5-min walk, in one of the main avenues. We recommend also visiting the restaurant that's on top of the property. The decor is amazing and the food is quite good. We would stay here again.

Our room was next to a busy street, so there was quite a lot of noise, as there is no insonorization in the rooms. We found the mattress to be a bit hard. There were no toiletries and the shower is waterfall only, which can be a bit unpractical. They didn't have wifi due to an issue with the network provider, and they couldn't solve it during our stay, however, they decided to reduce the amount we pay to make up for it and that was more than okay with us.

Location was excellent.

The shower was awful, and every time I used it the room flooded. The complimentary toiletries were two bars of hand soap. Thankfully I bring my own. The place would benefit from a decent clean. The ventilation was poor, the room was damp, there was no fridge or air conditioning. For the price paid you would expect better facilities anywhere in the world. It was not good value for money, other than a good location.

The staff at d'Ali Baba are just exceptional! They were so warm and welcoming. The room was cozy and the location was excellent. The hospitality was above and beyond and helped make our stay in Essaouira exceptional.

Stunningly beautiful place with an authentic traditional Moroccan feel. The riad is an absolute gem. The location is fantastic. The beach is approximately a 5 minute walk and the market is only about a 2/3 minute walk. The breakfast was typically Moroccan. Very simple and yet yummy. The staff were really friendly, lovely and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting Essaouira to stay here. It's worth it.

The riad is extremely well located in the medina, the owner is super nice, the riad itself is very cute, to resume we had an amazing stay at la Caverne d’Ali Baba! We’ll definitely recommend it.

Very nice riad, with beautiful rooms, in the centre of Essouira. Breakfast was tasty and the personnel was helpful and nice.

The shower needs to be changed because it’s old and didn’t work well.

Everything is good. Especially, the owner is very kind. He told us good seafood resturant. When I visit Essaouira again, I'll stay here.

Our room was clean but not super clean. We found couple of hairs in our bed and the sheets, while being clean, were not really practical to use as the mattress was really big and thick.
