The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable.

The room was basic for the price and smelled of damp.

Very friendly and welcoming busy pub with chalet type rooms which were clean and comfortable with nice modern bathrooms. Very good value for money.

The menu was new and not what I had seen online when we booked. The choice was very heavily burgers and pizzas with some vegetarian options. This would not be a problem for most people I suppose but we are an elderly couple not really into this type of food, so had very little choice.

Asked to pay for the rooms we had already paid for not once but twice. Had to prove by receipts and banking app we had paid. Ruined a reason trip. We had three separate rooms .

Lovely hotel , staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent.

We stayed as a group of 8 people and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The food is amazing and if you like big portions you will not be disappointed! Very reasonably priced too. All in all it was the perfect place for a night away. Rooms are great, beer garden is great, beer selection is great, food is great, prices are great, staff are great.

Very pleased with our stay. Our family room was easily big enough for 3 adults and very comfortable. The current owners had only been here for 2 weeks but the way they ran the place gave the impression they had been here for years. Friendly and welcoming nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were excellent. On motorcycles ww were allowed to park behind locked gates at night. Food in the restaurant was absolutely top notch. Wonderful fresh local products. We highly recommend the gammon steaks.

Spacious room with en-suite facilities. Very clean, comfortable and tidy with pleasant decor.

Chalet style room. Quite spacious. Away from pub, but pub next door where the food was good and value for money.

Pots and cigarette bins full and unemptied next to door to room.

Room was what we expected, we had dinner which was excellent, great service, beautiful food and friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious really value for money.

Only small thing was we couldn’t get the TV to work, but we also didn’t go to ask so cannot complain, as not a major priority for us.

we had the small breakfast choice and asked for poached egg which were great and toast and marmalade with a nice pot of tea both mornings the next day with our grandson we had meals off the lunchtime menu which were brill

The single beds were quite narrow in comparison to other hotels we have stayed at.
