Clean and comfortable, what we would consider more of a “no frills” Air BnB than a hotel as there was no actual reception desk or restaurant. We had minimal contact with the owners who live on the property but they were friendly and answered our questions as needed. The bungalows and pool are clean and well kept, and the view from the pool is definitely the best feature of this property!! Nothing luxurious, but very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Although the view/pool are remarkable, it should be clarified that a motor vehicle is highly recommended!! As the other reviews stated that it was walking distance to Barbati beach, we did not get our international licenses. Realistically, the walk was 20-25 minutes from the shoreline (slight uphill heading back) and we had to walk along the edge of a winding highway (not pedestrian friendly at all!) Same goes for the closest market and bus stop to Old Town, which are at least a 20 minute walk down a busy highway. There is no restaurant/breakfast on site either, so you must walk to a neighbouring hotel or get groceries.

This place was very clean, close to some beaches, great to explore greek cousine in family run tavernas just a mile away with a stunning sun-go- down view. The host does everything for you to relax and enjoy your stay without any hassle. Great swimming pool, barbecue area. We have had a great time. Will definitely be back!

The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was basic but had everything we needed and was cleaned daily. The views from the terrace were really beautiful as were the views from the pool. The pool was very clean in an amazing position. All on all very good value and a lovely stay.

This was a great base for us to explore the beautiful north east of Corfu. Rooms cleaned daily, friendly staff. Pool was a bonus.

The actual room was ok. A decent restaurant 500 m away.

Not really suitable for hikers. Isolated ex-hotel at least one kilometre from the resort. No facilities other than the room.

Mr. Petros, the owner was hospitable and made sure to give us a warm welcome from the moment we arrived at the property. Everything was nice from the start, the stunning views, the cleanliness of the rooms, the proximity to beaches and small touristic villages, the comfortable and clean pool, all contributed to a wonderful stay. Barbati is in close distance by car and the city center approx. 20 mins away. The location is also ideal to those who love the Durrels, as in about 3 km. distance there are locations where part of the series was filmed. The family of Mr. Petros was also very accommodating to our requests and Alexandros and the rest of the staff were always available to help us with suggestions and other day-to-day requests. Overall, a wonderful experience, returning to Corfu, would mean that we would return to the BBB Bungalows.
