Warm , reasonably comfortable.
Did put topper on bed when asked to make it better to sleep on. and sorted most of our requests
Had requested them to clean up false fingernails that someone had left on chair beside bed, was still there when left.
Still waiting on a receipt that i requested.

Location was excellent
Room had recently been painted and the fumes were so strong we could sleep, ended up going into my daughters room to sleep.
Me had missing cutlery and bowls.

The manager was on hand at 9.30 to hand over the keys , as our flight was 3.5 hours late into Auckland

It had a heatpump. Convenient location.
The bed was far too big and took up too much of the room so there was only room for an easy chair, not a sofa or 2 chairs. The toilet seat needs fixing as it is not properly attached at one side. The water pressure in the shower varied too much during a shower causing the temperature to vary. It was annoying that the extractor fan was always on if the kitchen light was on. We did no cooking.

Bed was super comfortable and room warm. aircon great. relatively quiet for being on busy road
The biggest thing was the shower wasn’t clean. There is built up scum around edge of shower that could be easily cleaned. is off putting. light above shower kept flicking off after a few mins. only 1 mirror which is in bathroom, so annoying if you need to use mirror and someone needs to use bathroom

The on-site managers/owners were very friendly and obliging. A faulty switch required a room change that occurred without any fuss.

Everything was clean.. had a fair across the road at the school.. was nice music.. we were told about the volume of music on arrival... But it didn't bother us.. was relaxing...

It was convenient.
Parkview would be one of the very worst motels we have ever stayed in - and should NOT be on the booking.com site. It is a total rip off. The shower area was absolutely disgusting with mould everywhere. The TV was on a wall with the sagging sofas underneath it, so they had to be moved to have any kind of TV watching. The bedding felt dirty with pillow covers that were way past their best by date. I didn't dare look under the sheet. I rang the bell for reception one morning and no-one came, although I waited for half an hour.
The area outside of the room was filthy, as were the windows. The TV & Sky unit were plugged into a multibox which dangled below the TV, with wires draped everywhere. The handtowel (ONE for 3 people) was never replaced in 3 days. There was no dishcloth or dish brush - only a very used small sponge/scrubber that was worse than useless.

The room was nice and cosy having the heat pump keeping us warm. The sky was a bonus keeping the kids entertained
When we got back to our room there was no car park space.
The room fridge was defrosted so there was water all over the floor.
One of the lights in the room kept flickering throughout our stay.
