Great cute place. Very close to the beach. Easy walk into the town where restaurants are. Parking right out front on street (free). Host Christophe (Chris) super nice, friendly and welcoming. Peaceful at night. Fresh bread (butter, jam) and warm pastries for breakfast (very reasonable $). Overall great..
Wifi is spotty but we didn't really need it ourselves. Enter wifi password without spaces. Basically liked everything.

No dining room - too cold to eat in the garden (which would’ve been nice in summer) so breakfast had to be in our room

nice vibe, very comfortable bed, quiet with loads of hot water and a little personal terrace. Christoph was very friendly and gave us some great local knowledge, places to eat etc.. We were able to store our bike in the secure garden - it worked perfectly for us

The place is quite close to Soulac city centre. It is currently being renovated and the rooms are brand new. The owner welcomed us as we were arriving and gave lots of tips about Soulac, where to eat, etc.

The other reviews of this location being tranquil and serene were accurate. The proprietor, Christophe, was warm and welcoming but not intrusive. He spoke English very well and although I was early and just wishing to leave my bag until check-in, he opened the room to me and let me get settled. The room was very clean, large and the bed was huge. There was also a tea kettle, some teas/coffees and a hairdryer and shampoos as well as a clothes-drying rack. The communal garden area was quiet and comfortable. I came for a weekend alone and I felt very safe. The wifi worked well but i don’t watch TV so I can’t comment on that. I will definitely come back with my family or alone. The beach access is just around the corner and the town center is a kilometer away.

The location was ideal (only 5 minutes walk from the Ocean), and the hostess very welcoming. The room was very quiet and relaxing.
Our stay was perfect.
