we got to the hotel and they didn’t have room for us (we had reserved months in advance). they did however move us to a « sister Hostal » across the street. Hostal Sandrita- the rooms were incredibly clean and the staff « Marci » was absolutely amazing! she took the time to tell us about the island, where to go and was always available for questions.

Hostal Sandrita does not have a television in the room (which we thought was fine but others may not).

- my booking was for a superior room . Upon arrival the lady owner had me for room 23 (bur after asking me twice if I was a single traveller and I said yes ) she downgraded me to room 21 ,which for sure didn’t meet the description of a superior room ( according to the booking page ) - upon arrival there was no information about how the breakfast is served ( I found out accidentally the next morning that breakfast is served a 0800 ) . But the owner and another gentleman were very eager and chatty about selling me a day trip to “ the tuneless” . Even the next morning at 0730 the lady owner was knocking on my door and once again asking me if I wanted to go on the day trip ( but nothing about how breakfast is served ). Of course at the end I was charged for my original booking and not for a standard room. The lady owner and the other gentleman should first make sure to accommodate and meet the criteria’s that the guests have asked and paid for and THEN should try selling the extras they have to offer .

Very spacious and clean. Comfortable. Excellent aircon. Wifi ok for the Galapagos

Aircondition worked and there was free filtered. water.

Owner seemed stressed. Place filled with school kids, not really the vibe we thought we were gonna get. On booking it said it was a room for 200 dollars (for two nights), discounted to 100. Later found it for less money than the discounted price on several sites, so felt a bit like a scam. Room and towel not too clean. Breakfast messy and mediocre.

Cecilia, the owner, was super helpful and friendly. They cleaned the rooms daily,the air conditioning worked great, good showers,and comfy beds.
