Great cabin with plenty of room and in good condition.
Other guests lack of regard for others - their kids out playing and the parents playing loud music until late each night. We were also constantly worried about our car being damaged by either kids on bikes, scooters and skateboards, or a stray football or cricket ball from the parents.

Location is perfect. Close to local shops, pubs, park, Lakes Entrance, Bairnsdale- a major town and other tourist locations. Villas are clean and relaxing with good landscape. You can easily walk to Metung foreshore and local cafes/shops. And yes, generous Easter eggs for kids for their hunt. We have a month of chocolate stock.
Bit miffed with "no heating up curry in the microwave" notice. We have a kid and an adult with severe allergies and always have some sort of food (with sauce) handy for their convenience. Had to be mindful 24/7 while cooking at the villa though.

Staff were friendly. Our cabin was very big, extremely clean and had everything we needed,.

I liked that by luck and season, we had the park to ourselves basically.
The villas were actually quite spacious and had everything you would need to stay comfortably for a good break away.
The only real down side was the bed. It was unfortunately really hard and uncomfortable. I spent the second of our two night stay on the couch.

The hotel manager displayed extremely rude behavior towards us when we reheated tomato curry. The hotel's policy only prohibits cooking or reheating Crab or shellfish, but we simply warmed the tomato curry to accompany our flatbread for my 12-year-old son. Despite this, the hotel manager levied a $200 fine and treated us poorly for no apparent reason. Both she and her husband even went so far as to yell at my 16-year-old daughter when she asked for an explanation. They exhibited discrimination, harassment, and racism towards us as we are Asian. My son and mother were frightened by the incident. We reported the incident to the local police, who expressed their sympathy but explained that, as it was a civil issue, we would need to file a complaint with customer affairs. We intend to do so, and the hotel owes us an apology for this terrible experience.

The Villas were quiet and well located and the grounds, pool etc were extremely well kept.
The villa was a bit small for 4 older adults who do not sleep together.

The fact that $200 was taken as a bond. Still not back in my account and it’s the weekend.
This seems to be rather old school. I felt a bit like I was a ‘schoolie’ couldn’t a credit card imprint be sufficient?
Didn’t feel particularly welcomed by staff and just felt like another number really.
