Less expensive option for leisure travel. Tavern on bottom floor.

Very much at the centre of things the rooms are accessible until very late (or early!) at night, with food and teh bar available right below (or from one of the other establishments beside and behind the Piñupe. The food in the Piñupe is very good value, with large quantities of all the Basque standards. Staff speak quite good English and are very friendly.

This accommodation is very closely attached to a bar and restaurant which is busy from morning to late in the evening, as are the neighbouring bars. Once the revellers subside the bars start dumping glass bottles, a few hours after which the streets are cleaned; very creditable, but noisy! Possibly we had the worst of it as we stayed during the heatwave, so all windows had to be open all night. Could be just the place if you want to eat, drink, be merry and then sleep like a log. But beware if you are seeking a quiet stay, or are a light sleeper.

Friendly and genuinely welcoming.

There was nothing to dislike.

Location in town was good. We were initially given the key to someone else's room, but this was rectified quickly.

Good location in centre of town. Met my requirements and allowed me to keep my bicycle in my room, on the top floor.

Reception is in the bar of the hotel. It was busy in the middle of the day and I had to wait a long time to check in as the staff were more interested in serving bar patrons. The hotel guest in front of me was given a room that was already occupied. The room was clean enough but rather tired. Quite noisy.

Breakfast not included, but good breakfast available on site. Possibility of parking infront of the hotel.
