Maria and the other staff were incredibly kind, professional and informative. We got a delicious breakfast every morning. We have an amazing tour of the grounds and we’re taught the history of the place. The house itself was very comfortable, loved the more traditional interior design, and the shared pool was lush to use. Overall a 10/10 experience and I highly recommend anyone to visit.

I wish I could’ve stayed longer!

I loved the place; it's super cozy away from the city, which makes families connect. You Must have a Car to be able to move freely though we did not we had a taxi company sort this out for us. The House is super cozy, very spacious feel like a home ideal for two people. The house has all the utensils you need to cook and a Dishwasher.

The breakfast is not served. You get a basket of food items you can use to make an omelet with cheese and turkey. The cake was good. Also, you get yogurt and honey along with an apple. They gave you plenty of coffee and tea supplies. Other than that, you need a car to shop for your groceries.

Lovely place in quiet area. It was a very nice location for us to stay with our 1,5 year old. She loved the cat and the dog that came to say hello in the morning, and watching the donkeys, goats and sheep. Also the pool and the breakfast (incl freshly baked bread and homemade cake) were really great!

The location was rural and quiet. The property was lovely, the patio provided a great view and nice afternoon shade. The kitchen was full size so cooking would be easy. Tanya was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Fantastic location for the portimao circuit which can be walked to from here, about 20 minutes, loved the location nice and quiet and beautiful, the donkeys are nice to see, and there are some nice places to eat locally, the staff and owner were lovely. The apartment was perfect and clean, we can't rate this place highly enough, highly recommend, the breakfast basket every day with fresh bread etc was amazing.

Lovely place, pastoral and relaxing. Very plasent staff and It were nice to come every day to a clean apartment. Was nice to have Products for breakfast although it would have been nice if it would change a bit during a long stay and maybe some vegetables..

The apartment was nice, breakfast was delicious, the surroundings were beautiful and the kids enjoyed feeding the goats and the sheep.

Everything about this place was amazing! We really loved our stay! We stayed an extra night because we just could not leave. The people working there are so sweet and helpful. The house is beautiful and spacious and the location with the animals so peaceful. To top it off you wake up to an amazing breakfast very morning that you can enjoy on the sunny terrace! We left there so relaxed and well rested. Will def come back soon!

Magical place! Our family will always have fond memories of this charming, authentic and clean acommodation. The kids very much enjoyed the animals (sheep, goats ans donkeys) they could pet just steps away from the guest house. We even enjoyed a donkey ride one morning. The pool was very nice, and we enjoyed the plentyful breakfast baskets on the porch every morning. But, the most outstanding thing about this place is the service. They were always available to answer questions, and we recommend you to follow their advice when it comes to restaurant suggestions nearby! Our son turned five during our stay, and the hosts had the best surprise ever for him: a wonderful birthday party set up behind the reception area, with cake, sweets, snacks, drinks, balloons, gifts - everything a five year old could possibly wish for when celebrating his birthday away from his friends at home. We were blown away and are so thankful that the Burro Ville staff took the time to do this. I don’t think we’ve ever received better service anywhere else. thank you so much!

Excellent location in the nature, quiet and a great place to relax. Super friendly and welcoming team. Definitely worth a stay when exploring the Algarve.

1= The animals gave some joy to our stay. The donkeys - as the property is called "donkey ville" - were across the street on a closed area, but we could visit then 1 day when the gate was open. The goats though, are at the same side of the property and are very cute. 2= The area and landscape are very beautiful, with views to the hills. 3= Ana Lucia was very easy to communicate with, responding fast.

1= Shower was cold, even though we were the only ones at the property, and was still daylight (in case it's solar powered). So we couldn't really find a reason as to why the shower would not heat up, after waiting more than 1 minute to check both sides of the faucet. 2= The breakfast was also a little disappointing. While booking, I noticed it had a "9.3 superb" score so we were excited for breakfast but were disappointed with what we received. The quantity of some items was poor and not satisfactory for 2 people along with an out of date yoghurt. The only item good in quantity was the coffee that had many types: instant, capsule or powder for the machine. The bread was delivered fresh to the door at 8am (as scheduled). The main breakfast basket was delivered one day before, and besides it having been communicated, it was not a great experience having to pick this at the door, because it almost interrupted our dinner and we had to store this in the mini fridge among our own belongings we bought with us. We know we might have had this experience because of changes in the procedures due to covid, but surely it needs to have some improvements to keep the good standards from previous reviews. . Maybe our experience was different because it was low-to-mid-season and there were no other rooms booked, but if the services can't keep up to high-season quality, then price could have been less.

We loved staying here. A very quiet and peaceful surrounding, right where you want to be: in the middle of nowhere. But close enough to the beaches and restaurants, that is, if you have a car, that is a necessity if you stay here. We loved the pool, the daily breakfast basket, the hygiene, the comfort, and in general the way these hosts treat their guests: as guests!! We plan on coming back here and can highly recommend this place.

Can't think of anything I disliked.

A very relaxing stay, you feel a long way from the developed areas of the Algarve. Recommend the dinner options, very tasty and great to eat on the terrace! Also v good for staying with a baby, the room can be made dark with the shutters. And we were made to feel very welcome; thanks!
