Truly majestic apartment in a perfect location!

The bed could have been a bit more comfortable, but any downsides were more than made up for with the charm of the space.

The air-conditioning shut off in the middle of the night because they have roving electricity issues in that area of the city. We happen to be there during a heatwave so it interrupted sleep a bit.

This a gorgeous and spacious apartment! The hosts were kind and helpful and the place was well-equipped with the essentials for our stay - including information about the city. This was the most home-away-from-home place we have ever stayed (and the air conditioning was a bonus!) Padova itself is an amazing city, and a perfect spot for day trips around the region. It is a 30-minute train to Venice, an hour drive to the beaches in Chioggio, and a train ride or drive to Bologna, Verona and Bassano del Grappa. We would return just to explore more of Padova and stay in this beautiful apartment.

More of an observation than a criticism - perhaps you need to remove some of the disabled features from bathroom to make people feel more comfortable. Also the second double bed in the piano room needs to be a real bed, not a pullout.

Very nice and spacious place that has history to it.

In general ztl in Italy is making places to sleep in the best locations problematic for people that do longer drive around vacation by car. You are essentially forced to carry luggage long distance from parking. in case of 2 + 2 family packed for 3 weeks it’s a major issue. This is outrageous in country that has big portion of income from tourism. I used to go to Italy almost every year for 3+ week’s vacation with kids, but ztl idea makes it no longer feasible. if you don’t drive with kids, this comment doesn’t apply to you.

Amazing grand 15th century palazzo with classical furniture and decor and modern amenities! Large, comfortable and in the heart of Padua, a beautiful city! We will definitely stay there again if it is available. The host us warm, helpful and accommodating. Thank you for opening your home to us!

The property is stunning. Large, authentic, great location. The best place I have stayed in for years, we loved everything about it.

Staying at Note di Piano was like staying in a frozen moment of a time in Italy. The apartment was big. The windows were huge, and the family momentos and painting gave the property a personal feel. The location is perfectly located. Francesca was the perfect host. Very responsive.

Most of the furniture in the living room was uncomfortable but considered them part of a movie set. There was no washing machine as listed, but Francesca did our laundry for us.

Alessandro, his mum and his brother were very friendly and helpful. They welcomed us like family friends. The entire stay was a pleasure, and the location was perfect.

Excellent historic building, excellent furniture with masterpieces of carpentry, very lovely host family, fabulous house keeping. Location very central in Padua, and still there was perfect quiecy. We came there for work and had a fabulous environment both for work and leisure.

Hot water supply in the bathroom was a bit slow. Some guests may find this challenging. We found ways do deal with it. On the plus side: reduced CO2 emissions.

Beautiful apartment in excellent location with bags of space and a grand piano.

The kitchen and bathroom could do with updating and one of the two double beds dipped in the middle.

The size and magnificence blew us away. 15 foot ceilings, about 2500 square feet, one bedroom had both an acoustic baby grand piano and a digital spinet. The photo doesn't do it justice.

Grand place admirably kept. Central location, extreme helpfulness of the hosts, beautyful town, incredible number of things to see, great markets and shops nearby.

For those who do not prefer B&Bs, it should be noted this unit has a very distinct B&B feel with lots of family photos and mementos throughout the apartment. For those considering a longer stay, appreciating a "time capsule" is much easier than living in one. Old world standard fare such as dark cavernous rooms with poor lighting and hot water that takes forever too arrive has less appeal with each passing day.

The location in downtown Padova was stupendous. Close to the train station, in the heart of the pedestrian district. The palazzo was historic but in great condition, the apartment was an entire floor. It had clearly been a family home and still contained most of its contents from that time, including a Steinway grand piano. The kitchen was large and comfortable, the living/ dining area was huge. There were two full baths, 3 bedrooms plus a sofa bed in the library. Everything was very clean. We regretted that it was a short stopover and would love to return for a longer stay.

The heat just kept blasting, even though we turned down all the thermostats. We had to resort to opening some windows, though we certainly hated to burn gas and let the heat out. The mattresses could stand to be replaced, but we slept ok. Everything else was great.
