The hostess, Lorraine, was a delight. The house is a fairytale setting with a magnificent garden and lovely view across the lawn to the Seine and the village upriver. A thoroughly relaxing base for sightseeing in and around Fontainebleu.

the property was wonderfully unique and the owner, Lorraine was full of useful info and generous, giving us 2 rides to the town center. I highly recommend.
Location was too remote to walk to dinner, for example. Not perfect for someone without a car.

We enjoyed the warm reception we received from the hosts and the very charming house, gardens and room. The suite was spacious and very clean. The hosts are very familiar with the area and have great advice about what to visit and where to eat ! We slept perfectly well and enjoyed breakfast. Our dog was also welcome which was a great plus. Thank you again!

Everything! The host brought me a delicious and extensive breakfast on the patio surrounded by blooming flowers.

Exquisite home where Lorraine your host will welcome you and tell you everything about the surroundings. Beautifully decorated home with plenty of antics (the owner used to be an antics dealer). The upstairs room is very nice, large and decorated with Asian artifact. The view from the garden full of roses and other flowers is stunning overlooking the river. Breakfast was also a highlight with fresh orange/cantaloupe juice and wonderful puff pastry bread.
One can ear the train sometimes passing by in the back of the house (like every 1/2 hour, nothing major). The house is a bit difficult to find but a good GPS does the job.

Everything was perfect! The location close to the station and the forest were great. The house and garden are beautiful with exceptional decoration and comfort. The rooms were cozy and comfy and the bathing facilities as well. Lorraine is a lovely host with an excellent level of service.
