The house was perfect for a family vacation and it had all the amenities we needed. We had lots of space for a young child to move in the garden. Elisabeth was really helpful and welcoming.

The house is brilliant. Beautiful with all facilities you could think of. Very nice to be so close to the beach. The water is very clear and blue. Location of the house is also very good to make short trips to nice places. Supermarket also very close. Communication with the host also very easy and fast. We look forward to come back.

The house is well-equipped and really conformable. The garden is gorgeous and you can relax on the terrace which has a splendid view over the sea. The beach is right in front of the house and it’s perfect for small kids; fine sand and shallow water. The host is really nice and welcoming. We are already planning our next stay at Myrthia.

Small issue with the plumbing, which is rather specific for beach houses but it wasn’t an inconvenient. You can indeed hear the sound of planes taking off but I actually appreciated the proximity to the airport. Especially after a long flight with a toddler we didn’t want to spend another hour or two in the car.

Beautiful house with everything you need. Stunning sea view from the living room, beach just across the road, ideal for small kids. Hudge garden provides a privacy. Very nice owners.

Little bit noisy due to cikades in the garden and airplanes from the nearby airpoirt.

First of all, we've been there before, and we were very happy to be back for a week in 2020, despite the pandemic. I would probably repeat myself: perfect location to relax and disconnect, excellent location right on the beach, shallow waters, low waves since it's a mini gulf that protects from higher waves. You'll find everything you need, and bonus we got cactus and pomegranate fruits from the host.

There is a military base nearby and the fighter jets were passing by several times a day, but the noise wasn't actually a problem for us, just a heads-up for the other guests.

The house is simply fantastic, with a beautiful garden and access to the beach. It's fully equipped, spacious, very nicely decorated, all high quality. It is a perfect choice for a family with kids. The beach nearby has clean shallow water, perfect for kids. Snorkeling is just fine closer to the rocks. Position is just great. It is 20 min drive to Chania town which is a great choice for an easy city trip. The host is very warm, thanks a lot for your kind hospitality.
