Situated right on the estuary it is a superb place to view the birds going about their lives. Easy to find and Liz left some treats in the kitchen which were delicious.

Great location and view out to the gulf, very private, sunny deck. Short drive into town.

The Boathouse was absolutely perfect, peaceful and private, with lovely personal touches like homemade marmalade and shortbread. Lots of information available and superb facilities. Loved our stay and sorry to leave.

Beautiful views, very relaxing, lots of birds, accommodation is comfortable, very clean, good shower, good location. appreciated snacks left for us. everything was great. only suggestion would be to get bigger bed.

Bed is small and it’s difficult to have a good night sleep. I think it would be too small for most couples.

Beautiful location, private and comfortable. Host was accomodating and contact was easy.

The view from the property is amazing. At high tide the water is only a few meters from the lawn and is very picturesque, and it’s so peaceful sitting in the jetty watching all the bird life.

The kitchenette and fridge is a bit small if you’re planning to prepare your own meals, but reasonably well equipped.

Hot water temperature may be set too high. We had trouble adjusting unfamiliar shower controls.

what an awesome little spot, close enough to town to enjoy the bars and cafe's and secluded enough to be quiet and relaxing. The view from the deck was amazing and so was the bird life. Thank you..!!

Awesome hosts, relaxing and very comfortable property. Breakfast was the best we have had.

The location was fantastic right on edge of the estuary..the owners liz and Neville couldn't have been more helpful. We appreciated the little extras, home baking and easter eggs! Thanks again so much...we would love to return some time.

Liz (the owner) left the key out for me as she knew the approximate time that I would be arriving. The accommodation was perfect, the views amazing and Liz was extremely kind.

Awesome location - very beautiful and peaceful setting so close to the water and great spot for viewing shorebirds - Oyster Catchers, Herons and Kingfishers. Great breakfast.

The view was exceptional. The privacy was superb. The inside and outside shower were fabulous. The decor was great. Liz and Neville were very kind and thoughtful Hosts, offering to help out when our truck battery went flat overnight. Highly recommend this perfect little haven!

The TV was too small for the room size and had a tinny sound. The fry pan needs replacing, as it's warped, so doesn't cook food evenly.

Perfect location. Great outlook. Peaceful & comfortable. Lovely toiletries supplied.

The only downfall was the fridge was too small but otherwise great!

Absolutely gem... Liz was an amazing host location was not too far from coromandel town and just over the hill from Thames. Beautiful place alot of love and care put into the property will recommend to friends. Highlights were the shower the view of the bay and the view of the stars in the evening.
