Grianna greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the gite and explained everything. The accommodation was very clean and very well equipped, a home from home and Grianna was an exceptional host.
Due to the exceptional summer temperature the upstairs rooms became very warm, an additional fan would have been useful.

The property was excellent, clean and has everything you need and more. The pool is of a high standard nothing was too much trouble. The decor was also the best I have seen at a gite. Superb!

Cosy spacious house with everything you could possibly need. Stayed for 2 weeks with 2 kids. They provided everything and always made sure we were comfortable.
Amazing garden with a great pool. Defiantly recommend especially it you enjoy the peace and quiet and a perfect retreat.
Being very picky but the bed upstairs isn't very comfy, this is also down to personal preference.

The Little House is a home from home. It has everything you could possibly need provided for.
It's beautiful decorated, very comfortable and situated in peaceful surroundings which are a 2 minute drive from the local village and 15 minutes from Confolens.
The hosts are light touch neighbours; next door if you need anything, but otherwise only seen coming and going themselves.
Nothing. If ever back in the area it's the first place I'd check to see if available.

Hosts were fantastic - extremely helpful and friendly at all times. The house has a super layout for a family with teenagers, the 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms meant no arguments. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. The garden was lovely (great terrace to eat out, badminton and a pool). Location was great - so easy to get to a wide area for days out (plus for shopping there is a little town 2 mins in the car and a choice of large supermarkets 15 mins away). The hamlet in which the house is situated has a lovely countryside feel to it and we loved seeing the resident ducks who live on the little pond.

Everything about this house was spot on for us. The house was the perfect bolt hole for us when visiting family nearby. Griannia was exceptionally welcoming and accommodating (even offering to clean the outdoor pool when our children suggested going for a swim...in October). The house was clean, quiet, and well-appointed, and it was wonderful to have a wood burner to come back to as the chill started to set in in the evenings. I would suggest that taller guests use the double bed upstairs, as the bed in the master bedroom was slightly too short for me (I'm 6'2", so it's probably fine for most people), but as there was a choice of beds, this wasn't an issue for us. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to anyone staying in the north of the Haute-Vienne.

We had a lovely time at The Little House. The accommodation was clean and includes all the facilities you might need. It is large enough to hang out inside, and the garden with the pool are more than sufficient. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. They found the perfect combination of allowing you to enjoy your holiday and being there when you need them. We would definitely recommend this accommodation.
