the decorations in the main lobby are nice.

the rooms are very small and dirty. The hotel requires you to pay €10 per person to use the pool. The shower drain in our room was blocked.

Breakfast was very good but you need to book the hour from the start.

The spa was extra paid. Hotel is very hot and dry, beds and pillows are no comfortable. Ventilation very poor. Hotel canceled massage and tried to charge us for them 240 eur Hotel tried to charged another extra 160 eur by their "mistake" NOT friendly, expensive, not recommend at all this place.

Hotel was really lovely clean and comfortable. The food was excellent especially the breakfast. The staff were all so efficient and friendly. Having a locker at the ski lift was a brilliant idea and worked perfectly. We would definitely return to this resort and the hotel xalet montana

Breakfast - loved the fresh fruit and the selection, whilst small, was more than sufficient and the quality of the food was very high. Room was spacious - but it did lack a kettle - there was a coffee machine but it had limited usage. Molton Brown toiletries provided in the room - very nice. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The Xalet Montana was a great stay during our skii holiday. The hotel is very comfortable, in a great location, has a great breakfast selection and a great spa which was welcomed after a long day of skiing. What impressed me the most was how attentive the staff were at reception. They were very helpful to us on a number of occasions with a great laundry service and helping us book a new bus to catch our flight after we had missed our original one.

A small dinner service might be helpful as local restaurants seemed to be very busy and often booked out.

The staff were so pleasant and welcoming - they seemed genuinely happy to have us and were more than happy to go out of their way to assist us with anything at all. The 2 ladies on reception are a delight to deal with and so friendly. The rooms were so nice and clean and the cleaners are friendly and cheerful. The breakfast buffet is fantastic with a great selection. The bar staff went over and above for us making us feel so welcome and treated us like their own friends. The location is perfect, only 5 mins walk to the lift. Each hotel has partnerships with different ski rental shops - this one had a deal with the rental shop that was in the ski lift station so we were able to rent our gear and jump straight on the lift which was perfect. As the hotel does not have ski lockers, they provided us with free lockers right inside the ski lift station which worked out so much better than having to carry all our ski gear back to the hotel! I would highly recommend using these lockers as it made getting to and from the slopes so much easier!

You have to pay €10 per person, per day to use the spa. I could understand this if it was an amazing spa, but it is very small and feels crowded if there are more than 2 people using it at once. I think the spa access should be included in the price.
