they just renovated and everything was new . the location is great ,so close to central station

All was ok. The location is really convenient for the transport and going to the city center.

It supposed to have parking dedicated for the Hotel, but the only possibility is to park around of the hotel with ticket or in the Parkhaus which is really expensive. In my impression the cost/benefit is to high.

Location & friendliness of the staff.

The room we stayed is sold as quadruple and I booked for 2 adults 2 kids. When we arrived, we saw the room has only 3 beds. The staff tried to help but they could not find an alternative room or an extra bed, booking.com customer service could not help at all and said to us it is hotel’s fault to list the room for a family of 4. Hotel staff said it is booking.com’s fault. Overall finger-pointing disaster really and waste of time. At the end we stayed in uncomfortably and tried to sleep 3 of us in a double bed.

Great location, friendly staff, modern, clean room.

I checked in at 3:40pm but when I went up to the room the cleaners weren't ready yet. I went back down and waited for 10-15 minutes. Staff were apologetic but it was an inconvenience for me after a long day of travel. Not a fan of the soft down pillows and you get 2 single size blankets for a double bed.

The staff were supportive and cooperative. Good location near main station, center and restaurants

The hotel was undergoing renovations during our visit, and the staff did a fantastic job of accommodating us such that this didn't cause a problem. We had a room on the 6th floor with 3 of the largest windows I have ever had in a hotel overlooking the park. It was fantastic to wake up to a blue sky filling the room. I don't know if it will be permanent, but the secure bicycle storage area was an old ballroom. Probably the fanciest places my bike has ever spent the night!

Not sure if it was because of the renovations or not, but the elevator was very slow.

Location and hotel were fabulous. GREAT price for this location - Old Town/Dom is an easy 8 min. walk, Mainz HBH was 3 min. away. Our Room (106 - Privileged) was lovely and roomy with a view of the park across the street. Rooms have been remodeled and are wonderful - especially the upgraded bathroom and spa like Shampoo/Conditioner/Gel/Lotion. Hotel is very clean and breakfast was varied and fabulous. Wifi was great. Also, great Irish bar called Kelly's just around the corner! :)

Hotel lobby is still under construction - which is fine except we were put on 1st floor so were awakened at 8 am by construction pounding noises. Our room was lovely with great view, but wish we had been given the option to move up to a higher floor. Feel it should have been mentioned. Make sure to ask if there is still construction happening.

The location is very good, the rooms have been renovated and look very good. Even though there were construction works, we did not hear much.

We got a double room instead of the twin room that we booked. Even though there was air conditioning, the general ventilation in the room did not seem to be great.
