This is perfectly located!!! Close to the Hauptbahnhof, only 2 blocks to bring luggage. And the only 2 blocks every time you want to catch a train or bus! This is family owned! They all speak English. They work very hard and long hours to ensure our stay is perfect. They always communicated and were very helpful. There IS an elevator, too!!! Along with amazing water pressure! The online pictures are accurate! An Apotheke is right next door super convenient. Aldi is across the street! Many food and ice cream options in walking distance. Downtown...10 minute walk! I am so glad I found and booked Hotel National.

I chose the hotel because it was near the railway station and economical. I found the staff very friendly and the breakfast offer excellent. The 2022 football World Cup was available on the TV in my room. I had a pleasant stay.

The hotel is some distance from the main sights and shopping areas, but near the bus station, which made it easier to get around. It would have been helpful if the hotel had had brochures and maps of the city.

The bed was a little hard and maybe a softer mattress would be good. mattress was memory foam and some people might like it firm but I prefer a little softer sleeper.

Nothing really. Air conditioning would have made the nights more comfortable but but you need to pay a lot more to get air con in Europe
