Nettes kleines Hotel, zu jeder Zeit konnte man sich Kaffe und Tee machen, kleine aber ausreichende Auswahl fürs Frühstück, Hot Tub und Sauna

Sauna war leider aus, Heizung hat Geräusche gemacht, dass wir die halbe Nacht nicht schlafen konnten, Zimmer und Badezimmer eher oldschool und nicht so hübsch, sehr kleines Zimmer

Very convenient for main siteseeing locations in south Iceland. Very quite.

Mattress was hard. Having to use stairs to 2nd floor room. For cost of room size was smaller then thought, but it's listed for tourist trade and location.

Herlig lite Hotel med 12 rom. Stille og rolig. Flott utsikt til Skógafoss og et jorde med mye sauer og lam.

The location was amazing, so close to the Skogafoss waterfall. Our rooms were comfortable and well stocked with clean towels and a gown incase we wanted to use the hot tub. The beds were very comfortable. It’s a self check in hotel and the key code access worked smoothly for the outer door but only one of our rooms. We called Hotel Skogafoss (as instructed) and the staff answered the phone promptly and solved the problem easily. Complimentary hot drinks were available in the reception are which was a very welcome touch. Breakfast was a good selection and the staff helpful, cooking more eggs and bacon on request as guests arrived to eat. There was homemade bread. We ate a good dinner at the nearby Hotel Skogafoss.

From outside, the entrance seemed a bit ‘tired’ with some peeling paint and we weren’t sure quite what we would find inside but don’t be put off! Inside is welcoming, warm, clean and comfortable. A small point and not an issue for us - there is no lunch/dinner available at the hotel, but the Hotel Skogafoss is only a 5 minute walk away.

Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of food of varying types. The location was spectacular, right by the waterfall. It was great having the coffee machine available 24/7. The hot and cold water were certainly HOT and COLD!!

The room was very tiny. There was no place to put our suitcases. While there wasn't room for another chair, it would have been nice if we both could have sat down somewhere in the room.

Perfect hotel, perfect location. Tea/coffee available the whole day. Large choice at breakfast.

Too expensive compared to other accomodation in Iceland.

Liked the self´check-in. Coffee machine in the reception is a big plus.

Excellent location at the end of the Fimmvorduhals hike, 5 minutes walk from the famous Skógafoss waterfall. Check-In was perfect - it is actually a self-check-in and self-check-out. We got a code for the room by email and that's it. We haven't met anyone from the staff (only at breakfast). Breakfast was perfect - all the usual popular food, whatever one needs.

The rooms are a bit tiny, but it is ok for travelers. If anyone wants a resort, that is not the place. The bathroom smell was a bit funky - It can be better aired/vented.
