Sehr gastfreundlicher, zuvorkommender und großzügiger Gastgeber. Ausgiebiges Frühstücksangebot - Zimmer einfach und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, aber mit gewissem Charme und sauber. Top Lage mitten im Ortskern. Tagesticket im Parkhaus mit 7€ auch nicht zu teuer.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und gastfreundlich aufgenommen. Am Morgen überraschte uns ein ausgesprochen tolles Frühstück mit frischen Beilagen wie Wurst, Käse, Salat und Obst. Der Vermieter kümmert sich um die Probleme oder Fragen seiner Gäste.
Die Zimmerausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

De locatie midden in het centrum van Monschau. De zeer vriendelijke eigenaar geeft je een zeer welkom gevoel. Het ontbijt was fantastisch! Zeer uitgebreid met diverse kaas en vleessoorten. Niet van die hotel kaas en vleeswaren, echt heerlijk! De fietsen konden veilig in de winkel onder het hotel gestald worden.
De kamer zijn echt gedateerd. De badkamer was erg krap en gedateerd. Het was echter wel allemaal schoon, wat het belangrijkste is voor ons.

Beds weren't very comfortable, very soft mattresses.
If you're vegetarian you need to tell this. The hotel assumes that everyone wants a plate full of charcuterie, and eggs with bacon.

The location is perfectly situated in the center. staff is very friendly and the breakfast is big and diverse. We had a wonderful stay.

Great location in the centre of the town, although not easy to find due to the narrow one-way streets. Best place to park is the public car park by the bridge as you approach the town and then walk.
Amazing breakfast. So much food and a huge variety of meats, cheeses and breads.
The owner welcomed us with a glass of something local, which can only be described as ‘Rocket fuel’. A very nice welcome to use all.
The building was very quirky and old. It had bags of character
Everything creaked. The floors, the beds and the stairs. Our bed seemed to tilt head down slightly and we got very little sleep. We were a bit concerned about the electrics as they were several extension leads all over the room, one even balanced on the top of the headboard, with several things plugged into it.
Sadly the lack of sleep would put us off staying again.
