a lovely place for a little retreat away from the big cities

Everything about my stay was fabulous. The people here were very friendly and made me feel welcome. I ate dinner twice at the restaurant and the food, service and ambiance was great. Breakfast was good too. My room was roomy and comfortable. The location easy walking distance from the train station and the Fort Bard. I didn’t use the spa but I was given a tour and it looks intimate and relaxing. I would love to return.

I liked everything but a little shelf in the bathroom to put things would might be considered.

Room - comfortable, clean, magnificent view. Restaurant - offering exquisite food. Staff - caring, courteous and well dedicated.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant meals were excellent. Restaurant staff was very attentive. Room was well-kept and clean.

Better access to air conditioning would have made the room more comfortable.

The staff working the hotel are incredibly friendly and professional!
