The location was impeccable, very close to the city center and the metro/bus, as well as the attractions. also 10/10 to the employees and the people we ended up meeting, since most of them were staying at the hostel because of Beyoncé’s concert.

So… the room was not the the same as they showed on the pictures. even though we landed 4 individual beds, instead of two bunk beds, we had no windows and the room was very hot. we had to ask the reception to turn on the AC and it stayed on for only 1h. the beds and the pillows were not comfortable, they had a dent in the center of the mattress. the common areas, such as the kitchen, the fridge, the bathroom, the couches, the dining tables, were not clean. everything was very sticky or smelled funny, which made the meals very uncomfortable. a couple of pans were dirty, for instances. also the quick essentials for cooking, such as olive oil ou napkins- which anyone staying at a hostel wouldn’t buy because of a short stay - were missing.

Nice facilities and very well located.

The cleaning staff is rude and verbally attacks guests. I wanted to switch my bed to a lower bunker, and this was an issue for them who complained about having double work making my bed. The receptionist intervened and made it right. But this was completely unnecessary.

Common areas and some of the rooms are all separated by an outdoor corridor. This design attracts smokers and the common areas arent entirely safe from them. There could be more outlets in the common areas. No toilet in the indoor common area. Outdoor common area doesnt look maintained. Ladder rungs should have more surface area. Thin blankets.

It was clean and en-suite washroom and shower was also very clean and convenient. Big common areas and excellent location and staff was so friendly and welcoming.
