Clean Hotel, Nice included breakfast, friendly staff.

A wonderful, small family owned and run hotel just 10 minutes walk from Damascus Gate in the Old City - down a very quiet. cul de sac. An old Jerusalem edifice which has recently been totally modernised. Bedrooms have a modern "vibe" within a traditional setting. We stayed in Room 107 which was lovely - complete with a very modern en-suite. Exceptionally clean, very comfortable bed and good quality linens. The staff are very friendly and helpful; nothing is too much trouble. It boasts a great, relaxed restaurant. Not only is excellent traditional Middle Eastern fare available, they also boast (slightly incongruously) probably the finest Pizzas in Jerusalem - coming from a genuine, wood-fired Italian Pizza Oven. Local people come from miles around just to eat them. The Breakfast buffet (and egg statin) is both good and generous.

We liked it mainly. Staff were helpful in a small way. Restaurant was a little slow but the pizzas we had pretty okay. Enormous though! Balcony was a nice touch, even if the view was a little poor. We missed breakfast the first day but the lady accommodated us. And we were given a gift when we left. Also, we left our jackets in the wardrobe which they kept so we picked up on the way back.

It isnt the nicest part of Jerusalem, so don't expect too much around there but it is close to the Old City. TV was a little...shonky. Kind of illegal-ish streams and weird filmed in the cinema type thing.

I was surprised by a plate of fresh fruit on arrival in the room and a bottled water every day. Lovely buffet breakfast and very helpfull staff especially Issam. The hotel is within walking distance to Herod's and Damascus Gate.

The hair dryer wasn't working.

19 century beautiful hotel with all the modern conveniences. Terrific location just a short walk to the old city. The restaurant was perfect and we ate there every night and enjoyed each meal. Friendly family run hotel and good value. You will not regret staying there.

every detail decoration is beautiful and the pizzaria is so cool

all good just one remark about the bathroom which is super new and clean but it floods a bit maybe because of the way it was built

Very warm welcome, fruits as a little present in the room, a bottle of water in the fridge, a breakfast package when I went on a day's tour, the personnel organised the airport shuttle. Very friendly people! But the best of the best was their restaurant where I enjoyed local food at very good prices.

The area especially for single women tourists. But I cannot say that I didn't like it. It was just different and I would still recommend it to others.
