Liebevoll angerichtetes und leckeres Frühstück nach Wahl (Irish Breakfast!!). Gute Ausgangslage für diverse Ausflüge, wie z.B. Ulster American Folk Park, Giants Causeway, ..

WONDERFUL

The hosts, Joyce and Bill, were outstanding in their warm hospitality. Rooms were spacious with walk in showers, many electrical plugs, the nice little touch in having a mini fridge. Very attentive at all times and excellent breakfast. Perfect place to start our journey around Ireland :)

There was NOTHING we disliked. We loved everything about it.

The full Irish breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented. Our hosts, Bill and Joyce were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was very spacious with a comfortable 2-seater sofa - ideal for relaxing, reading or viewing on the big wall-mounted flatscreen TV. Tea/coffee making facilities were also supplied, as well as a fridge for cold drinks. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable with pristine bedding. The en-suite was also beautifully kitted out and also very spacious with a decent shower cubicle that had a glass door (no horrible shower curtain here!). The guest lounge/dining room was very comfortable and equipped with a whole range of board games and also a music centre. Add in free Wi-Fi in our room so nothing was left to chance at The Laurels for guests’ comfort!

There was nothing at all we didn’t like. The only suggestion we would make would be the addition of a small table to rest drinks/snacks on. We got round that by placing the hospitality tray on the dining chair at the dressing table which worked perfectly!

The hosts are a lovely couple who dedicated all their time and energy in making sure we were comfortable and well fed. It is a lovely bnb situated in a remote area sarrounded by trees, fresh air and peace. The free WiFi is impeccable too.

Breakfast was excellent. Location was nice and quiet and under 10 minutes drive to the centre of town. The room was excellent. Very bright and a good size. Details like light switches and electrical outlets at the bedside were really helpful to have. Room was always warm even though it was damp and rainy outside.

Everything was to our liking so nothing negative comes to mind. The owners were very experienced in the B&B business. They really enjoyed their work and that shone through when dealing with their guests. I would not hesitate to recommend The Laurel to anyone.
