Perfect place to disconnect from the city life.

We had issues with the wifi that wasn’t solved. Even though our stay was during a holiday, some members of the party had to work remotely and couldn’t because there was no wifi.

Location: remote (as expected) but from Ibarra city centre, you can get there for 3-5 USD. You may walk the distance (it takes 30-40 min), but I'd not recommend this way after sundown since it is relatively remote. The transfer from Quito city centre cost us 30 USD (total for 2 persons). The breakfast was excellent, as well as the location and design. It is a place that has been created with love and passion. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. We also loved the kindness of the owner to take up several extremely kind and friendly homeless dogs into their family, that warmly welcome customers. We had some issues in the room (that are likely due to the fact that they were not in use during corona) but the staff was eager to fix everything - still could had been done before our check-in. Those were not "hidden, small" deficiencies ;) All in all, they put great effort into the place and it was really nice! Try it out yourself and don't be afraid if it not reaches 100/100 points. It is still worth the trip!

The staff was kind and friendly but at some moments too distracted with their private lives and other things, resulting in them forgetting orders or promises.

Staff is very welcoming, and the location one of beauty and serenity.

The cabins are dispersed throughout the property, so if you are planning to be near family you might be out of luck. The service at dinner is quite slow, so bring some cards or good conversation:-)
