The pool area needs a strong restructuring, too many barriers in the pool and outside. The game area down the pool area does not make sense at all. I would transfer the pool in the game area and I would restructure the top area with a lounge bar / restaurant over the pool.

The best!

Not only did we fall in love with the town, but with Hotel Hermitage in particular. The location was amazing and was in bike riding distance of everything you need. We loved the breakfast and waking up to the beautiful scenery that surrounds the property. Marta and Genardo took care of us the whole stay and were very friendly and accomodating. Genardo has lived in Forte Dei Marmi for many years and had some excellent restaurant recommendations. The beds were super comfy as well and our rooms were made up fresh everyday.

As a reminder of what happened: - the “king size bed” was actually a twin one with two separate beds without a mattress pad - the room was communicating with another one and we could hear everything and the door slam (even the shower and the flush of the WC which woke us up at 6am this morning…) - the big party we could hear in our bed until 00h30 - the hot water for the shower that didn’t work (I called the front office and they didn’t want to come upstairs and told me to wait because they are used to this situation) Again, those are not benefits for a 4* hôtel at 415€ per night! Regarding this situation, after such a bad experience that distressed me I decided to leave the hotel after one night instead of the whole stay of 3 nights and they refused to refund me the two nights I didn’t do even the breakfast and city taxes!! Worst hotel ever

The hotel advertises a pool. It exists but I arrived at noon and I was told that it was closed until 2pm. Then I saw the employee pour a huge cask of chemical in the water. When the reopened I was told that I can not access it because I didn’t have a bathing cap.

Everything!!! Thanks to the stuff! I will be glad to come next year with my small children!!!

Nothing But this year there was no marzipan pie at the breakfast. I hope to see it next year.
