Fantastic location 3 minutes drive to the Plitvice National Park. Lovely outdoor areas by the pool where you can relax. A very quiet room with windows shut

The shower cubicle was a corner one and extremely narrow. Anyone larger than me would not be able to wash their feet. 2 restaurants on the property but we had to pay separately for all 3 bills which is more weird than annoying

The pool was nice, the cleanliness was amazing. Restaurant next door handy and good food.

Couldn't use visa in the part of the hotel we stayed at, had to pay cash. Would have liked a room not facing the highway as it was noisy on the balcony.

We had a wonderful stay at Degenija. We stayed in the newly renovated annex. It has 2 restaurants with good food and good wine. The staff was very friendly. The pool area was great with pool service.

The property was very well located for Plivtice Lakes and the quality and cleanliness of room was excellent. Very friendly staff. Two restaurants on site, which was lovely after a long day out walking, to relax with a drink and no driving! The breakfast was adequate.

Only 3 in 1 sachets of coffee available, would have been nice to have selection of 2 in 1 and some uht milk for tea. fridge was empty so had to buy water from the restaurant for the room.

The location of the hotel was great just few minutes driving from the national park. The swimming pool area was super nice. The option of having 2 restaurants in the hotel was very handy. i would come back here again.

We visited the Plitvice lakes in August and choose this hotel that is 5 min drive from the Plitvice Lakes. We had an amazing time, at Hotel Degenija. Front Desk reception staff Andrija super friendly, attentive and helpful. Andrija checked us in and out helped with the bags to our room he also gave us detailed trail instructions about visiting Plitivice lakes. The room was clean and comfortable.. Hotel restaurant was amazing, our breakfast, lunch and dinner were excellent and the price is very fair! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Margarita and Ginadi USA

The annex rooms are small, but adequate for one night. The location is convenient as it is near (5km) to Plitvice Lakes NP Entrance 1. The gentleman who checked us in was gracious and friendly,; he gave us a map of the NP and suggested that we do loop C. There are a couple of grocery stores nearby, we purchased some meats/cheeses/crackers for our picnic lunch in the NP the next day.

The room wasn't spotless, the cleaning people missed a few spots here and there, but overall, our stay was okay. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the pool as the temp dropped in the evening and the pool water felt cold. Also, there was a small party outside of our room; the music and talking came through the closed window loud and clear. We had a disappointing dinner at the Hotel's restaurant. The food was very pedestrian, salad had little or no dressing, and beef noodle soup tasted like it was from a can. I ordered my favorite dessert baklava, but it was soggy and sad looking. I asked the waiter whether it was freshly made and he said my serving was normal and nothing unusual. Well, be full warned about their baklava, if you expect something flaky and fresh, this is NOT the place to order it.

We had a really good time at Hotel Degenija, we even extended our stay! The swimming pool and gym were amazing. The room and breakfast were also really good! We had an amazing time, also thanks to the super friendly staff; Andy & Marko. They gave lots of tips about the National Park and recommended us things to do. Definately recomment this hotel!!
